![]() I have 2 PCs on my network, so if it could be set up on the other PC, that would be even better.

Advanced Combat Tracker is the parser du jour. Note that you need a current version of the .NET framework to run, IIRC.

Indeed Advanced Combat Tracker is probably the best one out there right now. Although it does seem to have it's problems. A fellow ranger in my guild and myself both use ACT. As best as we have been able to determine, we are using the exact same settings. We can be standing right next to each other during a raid and get completely different results. In fact, differences in the parses are more the norm than the exception. And the differences in the parses didn't favor one player over another, meaning always showing him ahead or me ahead in dps. I never parse anymore, and he very rarely does.If you want a better one, I'd recommend using your enjoyment level of the game. That one is always perfect.

I think the only real utility of a combat parser is for things like this past week, where quick shot was broken. It gives a quick easy way to look at you logs and determine if something is not working. |

![]() Be careful with that. Next thing you know you'll be merged onto Butcherblock catching glimpses of Kaeros in the new 'O' stance while wandering through Antonica.

I run ACT on a seperate computer and it works great. My GF runs it on her game machine so we get to compare notes on the differences in the parse. The conclusion we've come with to explain them has to do with the chat options and what is displayed in what window. I have one window that is dedicated to combat messages and nothing else and she has her's closer to a default setting. We think (dangerous I know) that any difference is due to the extra chat that the parser has to deal with. My suggustion to anybody running mulltiple parses is to try to get the chat options to be the same and see what happens.By the way, for those of us running the Logitech G15 Gaming keyboard (with it's nifty LCD display), there is a thread on the ACT forums talking about trying to get a version of ACT's mini window to display on the LCD giving a real time DPS display.
