So last night after a court raid to get the guild status to finish off level 50, I went to the broker to have a look around. First thing I see is a really nice BP for 200p yeah I'll get right on that. As I scan down the list there at the bottom of the first page for 15p Amends Master I. I had to borrow money to cover the cost but I think it was worth it since we don't get an upgrade to it. So 41% hate transfer for me SMILEY

Yeah I have basically been telling all the lower level guild mates to keep an eye out for it and all my friends in game who are low enough to get it. I was just happy to find it and as I had told people in guild even up to 25p would not be unreasonable for it.

All my masters that I have were free, either from guild raids, pick up groups, or friends donating. I only paid for Rescue, 4p. None of the masters up for sale on the broker are worth a **** so I just sit and wait, and amasse tons of money... ok i can dream can't I?!

Same here Lea. I've just never been able to stomach paying most/all of my savings on a Master spell, the only exception to that being I might be persuaded if I saw the Defensive Stance come up. I saw Amends several times on the broker, but for me the 2% just wasn't worth it.

Regardless, whether it be via luck, raids, or the best guildmates ever, I have a good chunk of my current spellset as Masters.

A fellow guildee gave me the master 1 defensive the other day, i was so happy i gave him a master 1 level 67 monk spell to sell on broker, that master 1 is a niiice improvement over our adept 3. Grats on master 1 anzak, i know you have been on a holy crusade for it for some time, heheheh. For me the 2% is almost necessary when dealing with master spells from warlocks/wizards and summoners. Now if only the master 1 pledge of arnament spell was on the broker sometime... SMILEY

Actually this is the only master I have bought ever. All the others I have gotten or been given. I would like a Master of my defensive stance though I think that is next on my hunting list.

So there's no replacement for Amends at higher levels?There was Amends Master I on Splitpaw yesterday for 3 plat, it had been unsold for at least two days.I think most people are OK with Adept III (39% transfer) only being 2% less than Master I (41%).Similarly the big thing about Rescue is the 3 position gain, not the hate amount, isn't it... so is Master I really a big deal for that?Just curious SMILEY

I'm not even sure I would want PoA if it dropped. Sorry but this spell IMO is part of what keeps us down because no matter what the group set up the guard will be able to get 376 more Mit than me because of this one spell. The only reason I even have it at Adept III is because I had an extra pearl and figured it would be helpful for raiding from time to time. As to the only an extra 2% Consider this Wizards are nuking for 10K+ 2% of 10K is 200 so you can see that little bit addes up fast. WIth DPS classes getting AAs that increase their DPS I think the more we can control with amends the better because even with amends and chain taunting it can sometimes be hard to hold agro due to the large damage some of these DPS classes can put out.

You do realize that Amends Adept III is 39% hate transfer, don't you? You could have bought some ruby and had Adept III made, suffered an extremely minor 2% hate loss, and saved probably 14 plat.

Sometimes, lvl 70's have nothing better to do with their money than spend it on masters. I know I'm almost to that point. About as far as I can get with dropped gear, and only quested/raid stuff is going to improve me. So the need to spend money on gear is dropping, and the desire to improve my spells with that extra cash is increasing.

I don't know, 15 plat is a little expensive, but Amends along with a few other spells i would be willing to spend that on. My reasoning is that doing quests and selling harvestables make me enough coin that spending money on a master every so often is worth it. Congrats Anzak on the Amends, money sitting in the bank cant compare with the good feeling of knowing you have the best spell available to help you and your group. Probably the reason why i always seem to have no more than a plat at a time to my name, rather have the master 1 and adept 3 spells than a horde of plat. Now onto the next goal of finding the master 1 pledge of arnament for me... SMILEY

Well since I have had Amends at Adept III since I got it. I figure the master was a good upgrade. And while it is only 2% more consider how much more DPS is being put out with AAs I think that 2% is worth it. And well My feeling is that if I have the plat I'm going to spend it because that is what it is there for. I am always looking for an upgrade. When you consider we don't get an upgrade to amends and we have to depend on lower level people getting it for us I think that was a decent price. And since I bought it I has seen 2 more amends masters on the broker both going for over 20p

as far as masters ive gotten really lucky.. i got amends for 1p, and most others either from mates for free (guildie mates that is) or other ppl i know at cheap prices like 3p (which has been like 2 masters)

i hate it when the masters i already have drop tho SMILEY

but amends master 1 is definately worth it... if anything, just send a tell to the nub who has it up for 15 p and say something like 10p

Grats bro,Im about 10 masters shy of having every single spell upgraded. Most I pay about 8p for or get from the guild. I think I actually lucked out on Amends right when KOS was going live. Bought it for like 2 plat.

*cries* And yesterday I had someone with our self buff (spell name is eluding me right now) but he wouldn't sell for less than 10p, and I only had 7.5p (and that was with borrowing 5p from my best friend lol!) and he just wouldn't budge. I want that spell!

I'm too nice... I gave away an SK master yesterday to someone that I've only grouped with maybe once, because we have been chatting for a couple of weeks on and off and I think he's cool and deserves it. But then again, it was given to me by Jarred (who ROCKS!) so I decided to pay it forward.
