![]() 53 Paladin here, full Cobalt except for ebon boots. Pristine imbued cobalt warhammer 2.0spd (for more procs) and many adept 3's and a few masters. I find im doing fine soloing, no real danger of being killed against lvl 50-53 ^ non-heroic mobs. The problem is the .1xp per kill with vitality. 10-14 kills per 1% xp = 1000 - 1400 kills to level. Thats 12 1/2 hours - 17 1/2 hours of non-stop killing. Not including resting for a) health b) power c) respawn d) someone else killing same mobs or camping same area e) adds f) guild raid call/armageddon/whatever For the sake of this post lets add 3 hours to those times. Thats being generous. So roughly 16-21 hours to level, blue to white ^ mobs WITH Vitality. We know Vitality doesnt last forever and most of us don't have much, if any. So for those with 10% or less Vitality you can double that number. Now this shouldnt bother people in large guilds, or those who play often or at peak hours. Myself among them. Im lucky enough to be in a large raid guild with many players 50+ and many at 60 who will come play with me. What bothers me is when im online for an hour or so, or during non-peak hours 3am-7am GMT (do to work) that I am only able to get 2-4% xp depending on a-f factors. I can only imagine how frustrating it is for the casual player. What do you think? Should the solo xp be better... more solo encounter options? Less hps on solo encounters? Whats your opinion? This post is not for the elite 58-60 raid paladins. We know you are all "teh ubah l33t". I want to know what the casual player thinks, and what the small guild Paladins think.

Ummm with the changes to vitaility is does last forever. I was grinding 5+ hours a day in groups getting insane exp and the lowest I got my vitality was 82% and it was very rare for me to not log in the next day with it being full again. As for leveling get a group. Start with simple stuff Hidden Cache and The Vault for your level should be pretty easy. Once you gain a level or 2 start trying the roost and maybe Cyclops. Cyclops are boring as all hell but they are good exp all the way up to 60. Once you hit 56 or 57 you can start thoughing in Ancient Table for some better loot. Basically if you are going to solo it will take you a long time to level sorry that is the facts of life. Get a good grind group use a bonus exp potion and life is good. I burned all my exp potions over a week where all I did as cyclops and I was getting a level every day or 2 depending on how long I played. But it was very easy to get upwards of 60% in a single night.

ok, just to follow up here, since i see this misconception alot. proc % is NOT per-hit. if you get a weapon with a smaller delay, it DOESN'T mean you proc more. the % displayed is the chance that you will proc in a 3 second period (if you hit during that time). so if your using a slow weapon against a mob that you have trouble hitting, you might miss a few procs. but given that the hit rate for most people against yellow mobs is pretty good, it's not a big effect. in summary, a 1.5 delay weapon DOES NOT proc twice as much as a 3.0 delay weapon. in general, your better off using the highest damage rating (factoring in wep proc damage , cause that doesn't get factored in). PS. this info is actually straight from a dev, back a couple months after the game came out ...

![]() I have noticed that con colour higher con colour at less arrows is better xp to challenge than lower con colour and more arrows. A yellow v is worth more xp than a blue ^, but it isn't really a harder fight I try and fight yellow v if i am looking to earn some XP solo personally. |
