The Official Cross-server Paladin Channel

/join Crushbone.PaladinsforRight (no password)In line with this thread and the guide that SOE is now pushing, I am proposing we all join this channel. If your Paladin channel is anything like the one on Crushbone, it's pretty sparse. This is also a relatively stable server.Note #1: The /whochannel command now shows channel members across all servers, the old Note #1 is moot.Note #2: Links now work across servers, so this note is no longer an issue (but we still recommend EQ2iDB).

Do I need to be a Paladin or a Qeynos citizen to sign up for the chat? All i see is Freeport, Fighter, Crusader, etc, or is it a private channel?

I 'm still quite new at the game so im still trying to figure out the UI stuff, like chat options.

I'm lv 17 now and just about to begin the Betrayel, so I will be a part of this soon if not.

Anyone can join, just run the command in the first post. I probably should've called it the "unofficial official channel," as you won't see it in the list, and it's a cross-server channel, residing on Crushbone.

There were a few people on last night chatting, it would suck if you needed someone on the local server to be on at all times for the channel to exist. *shrug*

I'm also on whenever I can, it probably helps that I'm from Crushbone to help "host" the channel just in case. It's usually empty, though, and I don't really say hi when I get on, which I guess I should to let people know there's someone to talk to. :smileytongue:

I thought nobody was in the channel beacuse /whochannel returned only Dwergux. But later I noticed some chatter, but still only me in the whochannel, so I guess whochannel doesn't work cross-server.. I think I'll just say my Hello when I log on SMILEY

Correct. It might be worth saying something in the Paladin channels on everyone's own servers, for the people who don't read the forum. I've noticed 7-10 people in the Crushbone Paladin channel, but usually only 2-3 on Crushbone.PaladinsforRight.

You must be in the channel or have strange hours. When I say hi, there is always someone there.
