Barik, Sword Of Thunder Upgrade?

Heard this sword can be combined with a quest to make one of the best swords in the game. Any truth or info on this? Would love to see this.

Yeah, at the end of the Bone Bladed Claymore quest (Can be started by grabbing the Flaming Claymore in Stormhold at level 40) you have the option of striking the sword with Berik to make it an Electrified Bone Bladed Claymore.I think it just adds a proc to the BBC, making it EBBC.

is it worth it to hunt down and buy a Sword of Thunder and do and get berik before you do the BBC quest or is BBC almost as good as EBBC

I would think so. By the time you either have or are working on the BBC quest you should have more than enough cash to buy the Berik starter. The Berik quest would be trivial for a lvl 40ish person.

I won the starter in a lotto roll last night. While I am only lvl 22 I look forward to getting my Berik!

Yeah the Berik quest was fun.When I first went into SH to start AQ3 for my Pally I was waiting on some guildies so started killing the mobs around there.Fist kill (L19 Defiled Lancer ^^) I got the Berik Starter quest...

The item is called 'Sword of Thunder'

As for me as I play on an RP server, I will not be doing the BBC quest. The BBC is what corrupted Lord chessguard and eventually caused the downfall of Stormhold. It is a hideously evil and corrupting blade that no true Paladin should ever want to attain.

Course, that is just me. SMILEY

i know its worth doing the Sword of Thunder quest and easy (except getting the nameds to spawn), i just cant find a quest starter. ive seen 2 on the market for 3pp and then 1pp. hopefuly by level 40 ill be able to afford one
