Please post any feedback, bugs, etc. regarding Vegarlson: Ruins of Rathe. There are 2 versions of this zone, [Solo] and [Heroic]. In your posts, please be sure to call out which version of the zone you are discussing.
Thanks! -Chrol |

I've killed Heaper, Glimmerstone, and Slurpgaloop in that order. I've been running around for 45 minutes now and cannot find ANYTHING else to do to spawn the next named. Emerald Clusters are still up, but i've mined like 8 of them completely with no message other than infusing my weapon (which seems to do nothing). The hints are severely lacking in this zone on what the next step is. Nothing appears to be clickable, doors in pyramids arent opening, though they just go to the outside and you can mario around them.

[Solo]
A bedrock brute having a eight second knockdown seems a bit much to me, especially when they seem to come in twos and you can't swap between them fast enough to interrupt (and not everyone has an interrupt). Slurgaloop: I didn't get an announcement when he spawned? Lucky I had a merc with tracking up ^_^ |

Zone: Solo
Mob: Koni Ferus and Pete Bog (Bahaha) The Forest Roots aren't targetable currently. I can see them in my target threat list window, but targeting there nor on them directly gives you an actual target |

Lady Najena: So the first time I didn't understand the snowballs and I managed to just run straight across the top of the water. Lol. No idea how.
Second time - sometimes the snowball, while on the ice bridge, drops beneath you under the water She repeatedly interrupts. I was able to get through the teleport due to my 100% riposte (SK) but other toons may have a hard time Another note I had written down: A group of slugs are in the tree trunk at Loc 236, 83, 326, and they are super hard to get to/see, Had to do some jumping shenanigans to pull with an arrow |

Final note on this zone.
Woof - This one was a bit rough for me. It was definitely hard to know where to go and what to do and there is a lot of trash to clear. I clear from the beginning in and it probably took me a good 25 minutes before I figured out how to spawn the first named. Maybe I'm just slower than others but it took about two hours for me to work through, with a little help from a friend who had done it already. Maybe making the rock named first would help? |

Hey after creating bridge from snow balls to green circle that updated signature we with my friend both died next to it. There is no revive option, i thought that we can just go to sleep and tomorrow zone will kick us out because of expiration but it did not. So we are dead inside and can't get up.How can we leave zone?

I have killed the Rock guy and that's it? If there are hints - I can't find them. Could you all explain how you spawned the mobs?

![]() Edit: Found the bug - I couldn't repro it earlier as I didn't have the signature quest active. Will be fixed tomorrow! |

Is it intended that even touching the water is instant death in this zone? I'm not even sure why that would make sense.. We can go into the water in the poison zone and the lava in the fire zone.. but water in earth zone is scripted kill....

Pete Bog and his sister... I just spent 10 minutes killing them. Is it intended that they heal up to 100% so fast? I think my dps is decent enough and yet I get one mob to 5% and he heals up to 100. I even tried balancing them..sigh

The sister is like a warden with their "tree" spell. Try not to let her stand by the tree.

Suggestion: Scale back the AOE on Heaper just a tad. Between getting interrupted trying to harvest the nodes, and his adds, and his AOE, the AOE hits a little hard to make this fight manageable for just a solo zone.

The snowball fight with Najena doesn't seem to be working appropriately. I've been told to make a bridge with the snowballs, however when I jump to them to avoid the gap between land and fetid water, I fall straight through the snowball into the water. I've also been told maybe she needs to break them, however, she's not doing that. She's just spawning more adds. Evac got me out of the zone, and I didn't get to finish fighting with her, as I couldn't get back to the island, but I think the fight could use some simplification, or stronger snowballs....

I agree that more hints are needed in here.
Also, I jumped down the fire pit, clicked the heat stone at the bottom, it threw me up into the air, and I floated (jann illusion) over to some land mass (if I can get it to happen again I'll note the loc, at the time I was still trying to figure out what triggered it and didn't know to associate it with the water). When I landed it immediately killed me with the water hand thing. Edit: Same thing happened with Najena later - despite jumping while on ice, and then landing on ice it still initiated the automatic hand kill. |

Yesterday I accidently stepped in the water and got clobbered by the stone fist while killing the last Muddite. This resulted in the minimud (forgot the exact name of it) hiding in the middle of the lake untargetable and no muddite left to kill so no way to continue the zone. It's probably ok to leave it this way and reset the instance in order to complete the quest. After all a failure is a failure

The healing rate of Koni Ferus/Pete Bog has been lowered, as well as the heal amount, and the forest roots can now be targeted to destroy.
Also, there is now a 6 second warning when entering the water before you speak to the hand... |

Shiny spawned at /way 1007.82, 275.11, 48.10 is just under the pavement. You can see the shine, but can't collect it.

![]() You cannot target the root every time there have been quite a few times where I was unable to target the root to burn it down. Meanwhile the bosses spawned their tree and healed up. |

Next update, the large stones all over the zone can be destroyed. Somehow...

Just some feedback:
I've been on the adventure signature quest, trying to complete Ruins of Rathe (solo) on my fae warlock. The earth zone is my favorite for its environment but it has proven to be the most frustrating zone to get through so far. Not having tracking in this zone was terrible. I usually have a tracking scroll on me but I transferred to beta without one. It took forever to find all the floating earth elementals. After a lot of running around I killed the first boss, and got the message that there was a croaking sound, couldn't find the frog, thought it would be in the pond area but it wasn't. I killed all the drones and got the message that a large drone spawned and I finally found that but it kept interrupting when I try to loot the crystals or one-shot me . If I manage to avoid the AOE it ends up healing itself. I have had little trouble in any of the previous solo zones. Maybe I am missing some part of the script but it is not very clear what to do without a spoiler. I logged out because it annoyed me so much. Now, I guess I'm going to have to go get merc with tracking just to finish the signature or spend hours running around a zone looking for mobs to kill.

I have to say, the frustration level is rising with this zone. I'm here to obtain a pure sample of earth for the signature line. The zone itself is very well done, but there's not enough clues to tell me where I should go. Some of the people who have posted here and given enough info for me to find my way from name to name, but so far, it's taken me two days. I work full time, and my play time is limited. A solo zone shouldn't take me two days to figure out (or more, since I haven't figured out the end yet).
SPOILER ALERT! STOP READING HERE IF YOU WANT TO FIGURE THIS ALL OUT YOURSELF. SPOILER STARTS HERE So I've killed the name that spawns in the circle of stones near the beginning. On killing it, I heard a croak from the southwest. I found the pond to the southwest, but nothing that croaks. Killed the veckerchiki things until the enormous veckerchiki left his mound. That's when I found the frog down by the waterline on a rock. Killed the frog, and made my way up the ramp until I found the giant mephlin. Killed Heap, took some mud from the mound, and went looking for whatever mob I was to use that on, and found a Stone of Thudos on track. Pulled some mario brothers hijinks to get to the stone inside the little temple. All the tall standing stones around the zone became targetable, so I made my way around killing all the ones I could find. Not easy, since these don't show on track like the first one did. Stumbled over the muddites at the pond where I thought the frog would be. Started killing them, and the corpses became what the mud was for. Clicked the corpses, applied the sticky mud, moved on to the next. I must have killed 40 of those suckers before I realized that little minimuds were appearing out of the water and breathing life back into the muddites, and I was killing probably 6 of the same ones, over and over. *click* goes the lightbulb, and I start killing each minimud as they come out of the water after each muddite kill. Except now all the muddites are dead, there's one minimud left on track that's sitting in the center of the pond, and I can't find anything else to kill. I have no idea where to go from here. Also note, the water = bad, so no swimming. So, if anyone has some insight, so I can continue the signature quest line, that would be awesome. Dev's, I'm mostly enjoying the hell out of this, except for zones like this one that have very little direction. Without maps, directionally challenged girls like me find this a nightmare come to life. Some text somewhere to give us hints, even vague ones that take a little brain power to figure out, would be a godsend. |
