Sorry for the cross post, but in case you didn't see it, check out Moorguard's comments on the bottom of the first page of this thread:
 
 
He pretty clearly acknowledges that crusaders should get the ability to equip an item with stats in the range slot, and that they are working on it.
 
I think this is great news.

I must have sent dozens of feedback on this, It is just plain bad design and stupidity that we got left out.  I dont care if we can or cant use ranged items, yes a bow is a massive advantage to a guardian pulls, but that just means we crusaders have to be skilled.
 
But that fact we get biffed huge stat bonuses because SOE didnt use their brains on this one is just lame.  Its about time, tho my bet is expect it revamp time.
