Anybody find a use for this spell?  I find it a little stupid to have a "get out of jail free" card for mobs 3+ levels lower than us.  Why even use it?  Cant you just beat it down anyway?

Most ppl use it to make thier groups cleric faceplant...which is quite amusing!
I however use it to " Help "  groups full of oddly named chars, pull mobs. Like for example, Blightwhip camp in RV, these groups need help pulling 5 or 6 adds to keep it interesting while they farm the named! SMILEY

Otherwise, I dont use it except to amuse myself.

If you had  bothered doing even a little bit of research, you would have found that the wording of the spell is wrong, and it works on much higher level mobs than it claims.

Thanks?  I guess?

Excellent!  Now we are berated for reading the spell descriptions with no supplemental information provided by the critic: such as where to find the correct spell information or an attempt to fill the information void.

If the spell does work on higher level mobs, how much higher?  Does the spell tier affect it, or is it level based?  What incentive does a player have to attempt a spell in a situation the description states is inapplicable?  Are you saying there is a wonderful site hidden within the endless expanse of the internet with this information while withholding it for yourself.  Truly, your contribution towards the betterment of the shadowknight community cannot go unappreciated.

Yeah this spell sucks pretty bad, it rarely works on mobs higher level then you I would say in a combat situation against group mobs of equal or higher level it will work maybe 1/5 times. I am only level 32 atm with adept 1 of the spell.

I've never even had it on my hotbar. If the spell fails, you're pretty much finished. I'd rather try to run. Heh, I miss Death Peace.

I am currently at level 39. I have used it numerous times against mobs up to 43 or 44 and never have a problem. Works pretty well. Oh and my GE is Adept 1.

^^^ what he said... I had that spell failed 3 times in row (as I was testing it) with green mobs...they kept beating me up - lol - so no more - I only use it when am [Removed for Content] at my other useless squire (fun?)...I believe the description is right that it sucks....why don't they fix the description then? it's been there forever...

I've used it against yellow mobs with it working, plus I have used it on my healer when dodo hits the fan and it worked.  Currently have it at adept one and find it usefull at times.  Granted it does sometimes fail, but wouldn't call it useless.

One thing that a lot of people do not realize is that, if your feign death fails, you can simply hit your sit/stand key (mine is the deault, which is the "x" key) and continue running.

As for the spell itself, as other people have said it can be used on mobs higher than is stated in the spell description.  My Apprentice IV version seems to be good for yellow mobs and maybe some low orange mobs.  It also seems that each level of upgrade adds another level to the maximum level of mobs that would be fooled by this spell.  I find the spell is actually very useful but it is a shame the the description is so far off the actual effect that most give up on it before ever trying it.
