I just finished the signature line this afternoon .. and got a faction to 50k ... so how do I feel ???

firt thing first, I play a bruiser, zones were easy ... usually died coz of failed script or fail conditions. Only 1 fight was annoying because it is ranged. Other than that the zones were nice, the fights were original .. some easier than others, but all in all I like the zones, like the fights.

though I don't like the fount of power, u need to cast it everytime and if you take a merc, u need to recast it for the merc. Same everytime the merc dies.

for the class I play, disappointed in the lvl 105 GM spells. Only one is really interesting. (for the warden it's almost worse, illu are ok .. 2 out of 4 are ok, paladin I'd say 2 are worth it too and for monk .. it's again ... way better than bruisers .. Thank you Daybreak)

For the AAs, it's nice to have more choice but it makes some AAs even more obsolete. Plus it doesn't feel many AAs improved with the lvl 110. So many AAs which were already behind .. will really become obsolete. especially when you still have requirements for the sentinel's fates AAs.

The gear, was first please with the new look of some hats and gear ... but then disappointed when I saw every zone dropped same gear (appearance I mean), same color .. no color change ... and the raid gear we can see on merchant is really not pretty .. especially the leather one. sad for people who like appearance stuff.
And epic gear should look epic !!

Didn't try the crafting so know nothing about it

about the signature ... a bit too fast. Nice ideas ... but strange because there are guys u see a bit then they disappear really fast .. should see in raids .. but nertoxxulous .. we almost don't see him .. didn't see the point, and in the solo part .. I don't know .. I would have liked a heroic and epic part. U know .; signature quest who ends just before the last fight ... or maybe the last fight but ending differently .. then a story part in heroic ... and then the ending in epic ... not necessarilly having to kill all T4s to finish the 3 questlines ... but stuff with gods should finish as epic. coz there .. the ending a too sudden.

plus .. for all that happens. A lot of gods don't appear. Tunare, Brell, and the death of innoruuk of last xpac so sudden .. here no news.

nice stuffs .. but all goes too fast.

To me a signature line should really take a few months to be finished .. and there in a few days u can finish it (would have been sooner if for not the bugs)


so to be honest .. there are nice stuffs and nice feelings ... but as many said .. sometimes a feeling of emptiness and ... too many issues with classes and spells and AAs to really be happy. Too many AAs are whether useless or bugged ... haven't changed. 10 levels but no new spells .. so what's the point ? except for making class spells matter a bit more vs ascensions ... but other than that .. doesn't feel like we needed to level up. And too many class spells are useless too.

and whatever the work you did put into the zones, the fights, the art ... it feels the most important --> class balance has been put on the side. And so ... doesn't feel like it's the xpac to be. I don't have the Wow .. great xpac effect.

oh and for the geomancer ... least played class or almost I think

won't help people to become geomancers :/

I'm not sure your playtimes/style, but the last several sig line haven't taken months to finish- I had AoM's finished well before noon the day after launch; and though I got server disco on the mount, I didn't get game disco (not even close!). I didn't push ToT so hard, or KA (didn't beta ToT; did KA a few times on both Adv/TS).

The rest of it.. I'm not the person to ask about game balance. Can I finish the zones? In a timely manner and have fun? Good enough for me. I'm glad sig lines don't end in heroic/epic part anymore; I hated working through a questline only to hit a point where I'm not going to be able to progress any further. Not fun at all.

You shouldn't expect true class balance, cool looking gear sets, revamped AAs or old systems, or anything along those lines anymore. The game I don't think has the development team strength to tackle those things anymore or just don't see it as profitable enough. I'm not saying that to be cynical, but there are signs of it everywhere. Things have been like this for a while now.

I loved stuff like claymore timeline and peacock timeline. And I know they changed it coz many didn't like.

as I said .. I wanted to give my overall feedback to what I saw and tried.

it's all biased

I don't expect true class balance ... but some fairness at the very least.

bruiser are already seen as a lower tier monk.

and when you see the 105 GM stuff ... well bruisers got def stance GM (not really worth it if u have GM or ancient of the other) .. 2 CAs that are really not worth it coz situationnal and a 4th which is a kick. So damage CA.

Monks have def stance, single target taunt, five rings, which is a nice dps CA and same kick as us.

And truly .. I'm not being all biased (for once) but sonic punch cannot be used close .. only ranged attack and misses often and sucker punch can only be used flanked. So 2 very situational CAs. (both were already choices for lvl 85 and 95 ...)

The sig line is quick because they tied “flagging” zones to it. Don’t work on it then you can run zones. Months to do sig line would mean no one runs zones
