Painbringer (Adept 1) LVL 29 SK spell drops from Owlbears in Nektulos Forest. I got 2 of these in a 2 hour period. We had a chest drop on average after every 8 owlbears killed, with a spell book adept 1 in every other one. So after about 16 owlbears expect an adept to drop. It just so happens that Painbringer appears to be a popular drop.

If people find more drops or know of other places even crusader spells please reply would be nice for the SK community as a whole to see where our beloved Adepts drop =)

I got Sickening Decay Adept 1 off of some mobs down in Edgewater last night. Probably Murkwaters... since we were hunting in the room with the gnomish engineer who hands out the key for room 303.Update: Thinking back, I'm almost sure it dropped off of non-sentient rats in the tunnels leading up to the murkwater area. We were working on AQ4 and pulling whatever mobs matched the description, plus whatever else was aggro.

sweet, perhaps the zones these drop in correspond to parts of our aqs (at least i know we have to go to edgewater)

I saw an SK adept 1 drop last night in Nektulos forest from the Mist Grinnigs. Other SK in the group got it. It was Consume Vitae. I have seen 2 adept 1 drops in Edgewater, one of them was the AE disease damage spell (forget the name).

Confirmed Consume Vitae drop from Nektulos from different mobs. Same for Painbringer.Doesn't seem to be really mob related btw.

I'm hoping that the rares in EQ2 drop from a large variety of mobs, rather then having to camp a single mob spawn while competing against everyone else in your class on the server.

Sickening Decay - dropped off a Murk Henchmen or vet yesterday.

I'm guessing both Harm Touch and Sickening Decay can be had by mobs in that area.

adept 1 spiked boot lvl 33.6 spell i believe.Droped from valon grunts/builders/or loggers at the lumber mill in Zek:orcish wastes.

Painbringer Adept I dropped off of Nighfall giants in Nek last night. Along with alot of other adept I's that was the only SK drop though.

Mostly enchanter adepts...and a couple of guardian skills

I picked up Cry of Conviction Adept 1 from the Filthy Mocassins (spl) in the Serpent Sewers.

EDIT: How can you tell what class an Adept is for? Examining doesn't seem to alway state who it's for (unless Im missing it).

Each class has their own distinctive skill. So when you read "Skill required" you get to learn which class is what skill. For example:

Determined Zeal - Shadow Knight

Determined Faith - Paladin

Dirges - Dirge (obviously)

Assassination - Assassin (also obviously)

Sepulctures - Not sure which class... THINK Warlock or Necro

You get the idea.. I can't think of any more at the moment. I know em when I see em. Like I know which goes to Defiler, just can't recall the skill offhand.

All the drops in Nek mentionned here seem to be ZONE RELATED and not MOB RELATED.Seems to be the same for Edgewater Drains drops...Sounds like the pattern is just : this drop only occurs in this zone. Many of our most needed spells are either in Nek (where there are many ppl), either in ED (which is way more desert most of the time).

Righteous Anger (Adept I) - Commonlands, elephants.It may be a coincidence, but I found it odd that I got two Righteous Anger adept I's off elephants in Commonlands in a 30 minute period. Haven't seen it any other place.It may not be a SK spell, but many SKs use it so...

Charge Adept 1 dropped in FG for me off a rancid dragoon I believe. Only time I ever saw it drop there and amazingly enough I won.
