Quest: A Goblin Nightmare

Quest: A Goblin Nightmare
Category:Treasure Hunt Current zone: Obulus Frontier Third step. - Escort the Bloody Tooth goblins back to Twark NPC: a frightened Bloddy Tooth goblin No issues when all the abductors are killed close to the Crypt of Dalnir. The locations in my post above had the frightened Bloddy Tooth goblin at the very edge of the PoI for that step of the quest. Feedback : Rescuing ten seems a bit excessive for a timed treasure hunt quest many players are going to want to run often. Perhaps a reduced timer with less kills on the second step, and less rescues on the third step. Audolfx ~ Beta |

I also had trouble with some of the goblins not following me; it's possible it might be because I had hailed them when I already had a goblin following. Might be coincidence, but I ended up with four that wouldn't follow (they just stayed knelt down, cowering) and going back through my chat logs, I see four that had responded with "Saves them! I w-w-w-aits here! H-h-h-hurry!"
I'll try again without double hailing and see if that makes a difference... |

Following up: Ran the quest again and was careful *not* to hail a frightened goblin more than once; I was able to complete the quest. Still might not be related, but wanted to pass on the info.
One bit of feedback on this quest: The abductors fly really fast. For classes that can't cast on the run, it might be trickier to kill them in time. |

Yes, if you hail a frightened goblin when you're already rescuing one, that frightened goblin won't respond to you anymore, but that will be fixed with the next beta build. I'll also look at slowing down the abductors a bit.

Thank you much, Chrol! That's a fun little quest...I love how it's a full story, beginning/middle/end, and that it fits right into the lore about the area (and explains why the goblins poof when the remnants show up). :^)
