Poisons in general need a huge boost, and can be a quick and easy way to balance predator/rogue dps to the ever climbing summoner and beastlord dps numbers. Some new poisons, that actually contribute meaningfully to parse numbers are much needed. In their current state, poisons do roughly 7m enc dps and hardly even noticeable if you forget to autoconsume after a stack has been depleted. Truly needs to have the pot/cb cap lifted off them and returned to near AoM levels of dps for predators/rogues to be competitive on parses again

I'm just curious as to if its intentional and poisons are being phased out of usefulness or if this is an oversight.

maybe i need a hashtag? #makenonbeastlordscoutsgreatagain2016 perhaps?

I would imagine while having a freebie dps boost would be nice they would much prefer to have the class adjusted to be more in line with current t1.

Well considering damage poisons still use rare roots from 2 xpacs ago and god forbid you would like to use the debuff/secondary poisons...you'd have to find the powders for them and that was ToV.......

Passive dps is being phased out, poisons included in this. I don't think k we need updated red poisons, but some new blue or purple might be nice.

For example ones that decrease mobs combat mitigation, Bleedthrough %, and so on.

Hopefully proc dps is reflected in the same way for reducing passive dps.

Red poisons could act like a stat buff to yourself/group - xx amount of cb/pot/fervor/resolve even? (thinking of the shared poison ability that assassins use). Just a thought rather than a straight dps boost but i could live with that alternative too.

The debuff poisons could be incorporated in a way to be more supportive - Errror mentioned bleedthrough/combat mit debuff. That's a good starting point at least.

Bearing in mind scouts are the one class that pay more(relative to coinage for min/maxing purposes)through the nose for their dps with arrows/poisons compared to other classes.

It would interesting to see if they buff any of the poisons for KA.

No its not....passive DPS is going up, and not by a static amount either. its increasing on a curve with your pot/cb. Which is how it used to work for poisons until everyone cried saying that want to press more buttons

I agree with this but poisons should be part of that balance, they always have been. We seem to be stepping away from the core of what made this game. And by doing that the game is starting to become a shell of itself. They are having such a hard time balancing classes because they have gutted core class features out.

Are you going to atleast be updating non-damage poisons instead?

I'll admit, i'm quite disappointed. Countless AA's enhance poisons and they're essentially meaningless on the parse anymore too even with them. Sure hope assassin's epic 2.0 doesnt have a "increases crafted poison damage by 10%" effect on it. Perhaps if not willing to make new poisons, maybe loosen up the cap on the pot/cb/agi modifiers that effect them?

plus its not much fun harvesting nodes in AoM content. Can we at least get recipes updated to use Thalumbra/KA roots since those make next to nothing?

The last thing I want is to up damage poisons. I would much rather have my primary dps come from what is free and innate, rather than something I must fork out money for. It would be a bad ability to balance a class around.
