As I stand in one of my dungeon storage houses looking at all the crap I have stored for those just in case design moments, I was talking to a friend in game about wishing we could reduce the hording somehow.

I would like to propose a good start would be to make the K.A. household items that are quested/ collectible rewards be able to be acquired once they are unlocked by completing the quest or collection they are a reward of. A merchant could be set up, similar to the faction merchant, to sell these unique items.

In the future perhaps this could be expanded to include at the very least the more popular items used to decorate houses with from former expacs. My dream would be to see a merchant who also sold the dungeon maker items that are not in game... but hey.. one step at a time!

Speaking of the dungeon maker.. another thought I had was a tool similar to the "toolbox" which we could store items in and access in our houses instead of having empty houses with room after room of 10 or more tiles, trees, furnishings and knickknacks of every size. This would again remove the storage house syndrome and reduce the clutter! Not to mention it would be nice to go from house to house, open up your toolbox and be able to pull out exactly what you need! Then, if you pull out too much or decide you don't like it be able to shove it back in.

Sooo,... have 2,000 items and/or Building Blocks in a storage dungeon is,... bad? Wink
yeah, I admit it,... it is like walking through Home Depot, and still not finding that unique Item that I need.

The Dungeon Maker Tool Box would be a GREAT IDEA!
Just plug in a few characters of the item sought, reducing the list, select, place! YES!
A most excellent idea!

I love all of those ideas but particularly this:-

I would be sooo delighted if I could get my hands on some of those house items you can only get through collections/quests - I have made new characters just to cash in shinies for one more rug or one more such and such when I can't get anymore on my regular characters. E.g. I can't get enough of those Charasis Urns and pillars etc and I've begged them off almost every one I know! So yes to this 100%

Right now I would just like some blueprint for larger personal depots, such as Lore & Legends.

That said, I would love to be able to store items in a formal way, such as a bank. Finding items can be "fun".

Totally agree! And I know I am your worst hoarder out there. *Hides her storage dungeons - MINE*. I thought a house item merchant for guild hall amenity would be really awesome but always got booed at everytime I brought up the topic. So yes I would fall off my chair, drool all over the place if there was a merchant for the new KA stuff once you unlock by doing quest/collection.

Something sort of related. I would love to have a couple new tinkerer recipes. A recipe to make small, medium and large crates. These crates would pack a certain number of items inside so we can mail them to people (like 6 for small, 12 for medium and 24 for large). The crate would be like a claim crate that we can unpack whenever we want the items. The crates are one time use cuz once unpacked you just are left with items inside. A packing crate as a mastercrafted item that allows you to pack an entire house, dungeon or guild hall into one nice box and allows you to place into a different house, dungeon or guild hall. Once placed can unpack so items go into moving crate/toolbox. Packing crate would be one time use thing as well. This will allow people to move entire house to an alts house and stop the need to have to remove everything thing from a personal depot cuz man there are so many mats it makes your head spin going back and forth back and forth transporting mats to a harvest depot in another house. But if the personal depot thing is too hard to include then just let us pack up everything but those depots so easier to move. Guild hall amenities of course couldn't be packed inside the packing crate so there is those depots to deal with but it is a good start to be able to move from one alts house to another, etc.

I have allowed a few people to see one or two of my over a hundred storage dungeons. Let's just say people drool.

But why buy them after getting them through a quest? LOL...I'd just buy a ton and put them in a dungeon anyways..hehe But I'm not a hoarder, I can quit anytime. Tongue

Add them as recipes in our crafting window. BigGrin

I have always loved the dungeonmaker toolbox! Besides being able to use them in houses, I would like to see a filter where you could turn off all the dungeonmaker items so just your pack contents show. We can turn some of them off now, but not all of them Frown

I would personally like to see the small harvest depot brought back, and not be a house lore item Smile I like to sort my harvests out so I can see at a glance what I'm running low on. Frostfell in one, other event harvests in another, specialty and quest harvests in another, a large depot for commons, one for rares, one for adorning mats......

ALSO please give us amalgamations for the higher tiers!

The problem being of course that items which are supposed to be unique could now be bought, placed or sold, rebought ad infinitum even with a LORE tag. Maybe with crafting coins as part of the cost or something like thad...
