Currently I have Stop Heart (Adept I) and it says it has a 75% chance against 39lvl and below and 0% chance against 49% and Higher. In my experience it has nearly become useless against anything Green or higher to me (44lvl+). So my question.. whats the stats on Adept III and would it be worth the Ruby?

That's an odd rate of success.  I pretty much ignore the %'s given in the description, but my Stop Heart adept1 works pretty well, even on lvl 50 mobs.  I get an occasional back to back fail (or even rarer 3 fails in a row, which usually ends in my death) but overall I can't complain about it.

Stop heart:

Stolen from Cage, because I can, and Im evil, and theres nothing short of leaving trails of chocolate into a trap that can stop me.

Stats are wrong anyway, I've FD'd Darathar before.

BTW the name is Gage with a G, not Cage with a C, sheesh!

ive got master 1 stop heart and it works almost everytime to most raid mobs (both instanced and contested) ive also FD'ed on darathar a few times.... course the AE got me all those times, if it doesnt show the mob as non kos then just get up and do it over though SMILEY (sometimes its a tad slow)

One thing to note is that the "Level" of Invis or Feign Death is not the same as the mob's level.

For those Veteran Monks, who used to spam the "Show Feign" command will know what I'm saying.

For example, those Lvl27 ^^ Skeletal Lieutenants had a feign value of 23.  So when you feign death, two things happen.

1) Roll to check if FD is successful. If not, mob continues whacking.

If yes, then;
2) Roll a random number from X-y to X+z to get your Feign Value.
For this example let me use the number range from 19 - 27.

If you rolled a 19, you successfully feign death, but the level 27 ^^ with Feign value of 23 will beat your 19 so he will still beat on you.

If you rolled a 23, you successfully feign death, but the 27^^ will still beat you with his 23 (sort of like banker's favour in casino), and wail on you.

If you rolled a 24, you're good to go!.

With our last FD at adept 3, we can successfully fool up to a level 61monster.

This will not be an issue since we don't theoratically get an upgrade until lvl59 (following the 14 level gap), and with that we should (in theory) fool up to lvl75 mobs.

Winnoe pretty much got it right.  A successful FD (when buffs drop) only "rolls" a feign value for you.  But, for the most part, you will fool the mob.

Stop Heart Adept I works on Darathar.  Mind you, it seems that my feign rolls are "just" enough to work on him, I tend to only need to FD twice before it works.  Of course... its kinda tough w/ Darathar since he isn't aggro, so you have to keep your mainHUD window open (or get a mod) so you can see if it really worked.

I wouldn't bother w/ adept III just yet.  If you get a ruby and have nothing to use it on, then upgrade it.  Otherwise, just wait till the expansion.

Cool.. a lot of good info.. I used to used the show feign command in a macro with FD, but I guess they changed that becuase my macro stopped working a couple 2-3  months ago?(anyone know if the command was changed) Since then to tell you the truth I have had to used it much. Either never was really in a position where FD was called for per say, or was with a group. Think I may get out this evening and see what I do with it again. I loved it in EQ, pretty much go anywhere with FD and AA FD at the Ready.

I think it was removed in the early January patch.
