I know that there's a channel on AB called Qeynos_Monk. I also know that since I joined it at level 20, nobody has *once* talked in it.

If there's a way to have a channel that we could all be in, I'd be all about it. If for nothing else to listen to you all talk while I grind. :smileyindifferent:

You can join a channel on any server that is player made. A bunch of my old guildies from EQ and I have a channel, as well as a couple other channels I join on other servers. 1 person just makes a channel on say Befallen called Allmonks. Then anyone can join that channel by putting in Befallen.Allmonks in the join/create part of chat options, or typing /join befallen.allmonks. Tested the /join server.qeynos_monk and just gives you don't have permission message.

How cool! An all Monk channel would be something I would definately be interested in joining. I know I havent said a lot on the forums, but I have made a channel. It's called Allmonks on Crushbone. So it would be Allmonks.Crushbone. Hope to see you guys falling in SMILEY

Oh, and if someone else would rather create it that is fine. I'll check back here to see what is going on!

Since they've added the cross-game capability to the chat channels, should we change it to [join crushbone.allmonks?

Don't know about other folks, but I have one of the All Access Accts for my main character, and I occasionally am in other games - would be nice for everyone to be able to keep in touch, even when not in EQ2. SMILEY

Notice to all Monks who use this channel, after todays update, you'll have to rejoin the channel, seems the chat windows have been reset, (in my case this happened)

was only reset if you used lowercase characters in your join statement, e.g. /join crushbone.allmonks. You have to do a /join Crushbone.Allmonks now

Tarvos, this channel is accessible from any and every server; its a cross-server chat channel that exists for all monks on all servers to chat (and we even tolerate Bruisers =D). Just type join Crushbone.Allmonks and you'll be in. To speak in the chat use /# except you have to put in the correct number in the place of /#. When you join the chat you'll see a message that say "You have joined 'crushbone.Allmonks' (#) and thats the number you use SMILEY

There are non-cross-server monk channels on every server as well. These are listed as "Qeynos_Monk" in the "World Channels" under Chat Options when you right-click a chat window. Unfortunately, since class channels are not automatically joined once a character becomes a new class, most people don't know they exists.
