Fixed Safe Fall that actually raises skill, deflection working as if round shield always equipped, app4 and changed adept1 loot table drops.

THIS PATCH WILL ROCK.

omg can't wait :smileysurprised:

The patch is scheduled between today (Friday) and early next week. I've heard the new Monk armor color is clear. SMILEY

If I had to bet on a colour, I'd be guessing fluorescent brown, as far as the safe fall goes, there is nothing I want to do more in this game than jump off the birdie transport tower thingeys and not take damage, those ramps are a serious pain in the butt...  Didn't hear anything about the changes to adept drops, here's hoping we'll actually be able to get adept spells without having to bend over and drop our drawers first, hmm, wonder if the mods will edit that one, /ponder.

Black, White, or Brown prz. I'd rather be Jet Li than Van Damage.

Double the van Dammage! No one messes with the Muscles from Brussels, baby!  Sorry, too many plays on words surround that guy to not partake.

Looks like we got a lot of love in this patch.  Hopefully the new deflection rate will end the "to tank or not to tank" debate.   Of course this may start the "monks are too powerful" cries from other classes.  It is good to see they are listening to the community and addressing concerns that we have.

It is fortunate that there is no pvp in this game, because in galaxies, for instance, an upgrade such as our defense bump led all of the other classes to cry unfair and ultimately doomed the class that benefitted.  I don't see that being as much of an issue now since the other fighter classes can tank just fine.  I don't see this increase giving us a huge advantage, just helping us avoid those nasty and unlucky 4+ hits in a row that turn a monk into monk curry and make a cleric swear like a sailor.

I don't think any of that was class-specific.  I think it was just what was available as light armor for that level range.  I'd love to see more monk-style armors added, though.

No doubt, I wonder what they are doing, since Moorgard said they were waiting till next week to push the big patch to the live servers.

That armor I wear isn't class specific its just the best light armor drops I can find atm.  AFAIK the only time we get monk armor is in our 20s.

The big patch isn't today.  They are having other major problems atm with the character data being corrupt and are doing a rollback to before this morning's reboot.  Check the Dev Tracker for more details.

I don't think this is the patch.  The patch just went to the test servers yesterday.  I think there was a problem with players' quests, combat and other and the servers are donw trying to repair it.

In any case, there are a lot more upgrades in the patch when it does come out which many I am looking forward to.

Yes the "8 new fighting sticks" you have to start the quest's on the Isle of Refuge.  :smileysurprised:

But really wouldnt it be wise to atleast have a chat system that "all your paying customers" could use?
They have one yes thats right one moderated chat room for all of the american customers /bog. That makes one think hmmm were is all the money going. Dont say its for customer service or im goin cry.

Sorry just a thought i had. Hmmmm Atleast make the "Banner" in  the chat lobby display info, thats why everyones in the general chat for info. Then atleast everyone would have a source to get info. peace

What the hell is the point of that?

what is it some sort of quest or something?

Like weapon quest from Cabilis in EQ 1, new quest to upgrade them every so often.
