Is Dual Wield viable?

Hey Berzerker people.. Is Dual Wield a viable weapon choice for berzerkers? In reading the threads here all anyone seems to be talking about is 1hander and a buckler for the Gladiator line and Two-Handers. What about Dual Wield?

yes...dual weild is availible, as you can see on most dual weild weapons, beserkers can use them... >.>1h and buckler combined with the WIS AA line is almost the equvalent of dual weild so it is somewhat being shunned right now. 2 handers are for dopes imo...

Heh, he said viable. Which means "are they good to use", to the point of them being a good choice.

Personally the Zerker is my 2nd character around, and halbreds just look so damned cool I don't really care if it's the best or not. So I'll be sticking with 2handers for a bit except when tanking. (Maybe buckler later. But for me, looking cool is just so much more important... and I can afford it since I got a higher level main =p)

2handers are horrible.

I switch between 1hand/buckler and dual wield all the time.

Get yourself two good dual wields and you'll rock.

I only stopped letting dual-weild be my default state recently. It is a viable option. You generate agro nicely to do your job, it looks suitably aggresive, stops you feeling impotent while all those numbers float above the mobs head, or feeling like a girlie hiding behind a big shield.

I made the change to 1H/buckler recently and only because I fancied a change, and wanted to be able to click as many things I had as possible. In dual-wield you don't get to shield-bash, and with two AA lines, that's two weapons wanting the primary slot. With a buckler you get to enjoy all your AA's and bash the mobs in the mouth with the buckler occasionally.
