Berrik, have I missed out?

Currently sitting pretty at lvl 37 Berserker. And throughout playing EQ2 through the levels, I wasnt able to ever get Berrik to drop for me in SH. And now Im starting to ask myself if I missed ot on trying to aquire it. But now at lvl 37, have I lost all hope in getting hold of Berrik now that the mobs in SH are grey to me?

Either make an alt and farm it again or be prepared to pay vendor prices (1-3p).I would not recommend finishing your BBC without it.

I have had to create an alt to try and farm this also, just the way it goes until they add some other way of augmenting the BBC.

Bone Bladed Claymore is a level 40+ heritage quest. In order to make it an Electrified Bone Bladed Claymore, a much more uber version with a proc you have to have completed Beriks Sword of Thunder quest, otherwise it is just a plain BBC.

I think it will drop from any chest in SH, so as long as you can still get chests you can do it. I'm 29 now, so I am going to have to "hardcore" it in SH until I get the drop! ... oh geez!

there are not any there.

Let me emphasize one thing to all you guys in the level range to get Beriks.....CAMP that zone non-stop until you get a sword of thunder. I say that because at lv 44, the EBBC is hands down the best weapon in the game for a zerker, well that and the monsoon, but you wont see a monsoon until mid to upper 40's.

The heiro crook seems to have almost identical stats, damage, delay and an earth based proc rather than electic.. its just a crush instead of slash... wouldnt that be nearly as good?

To the OP...I highly recommend you either farming this with an alt, or buying the starter if you ever want to do the bbc. I've done it and have my Electrified Bone Bladed Claymore. It's a darn sweet 2hander.

Monsoon is one of the Heart of Fear quest rewards in CT. If you compare the stats b/n the 2 EBBC has the edge.

yeah, I've been looking just to see if anyone sells it for cheap, still haven't seen one for sale at all. I'm just putting thunder in the search and looking through them. Guess I'll have to see if there are some greens I can kill in SH then turn off xp and camp them until I get it?

On my server I will see Sword of Thunder on broker for about 6-8pp, and an ebon cluster for 4-6pp, so if you aren't lucky enough to find these items on your own you can expect to pay 10-14pp on my server to get the EBBC and make some noob rich for the rest of his/her EQ2 life.
