Int Mult: floor((log2(int) * .28 - 1.2) * 100 )/ 100
Range Mult: 1 + (range/20), max of 2 (2750 * intmult) * range_mult Then it goes into the potency/critbonus equations. |

So, you wanna stand at 20m to do max dps on it? seems kinda silly when we usually have all the raid stack up on top of each other in melee range of 9m or less.
What about enchanters that stand in melee range? is it gonna be worth taking? |

Meh. I don't think the damage is spectacular, but it'd be great for charging increments as a sorcerer. Obviously I'd want to test it first but I feel like the damage could be increased by possibly as much as double.

So since we can't spend points yet, mind sharing the range multipliers? Before any range multipliers, it only tooltips for about half of my wizard's worst spell on my hotbar.

Slightly offtopic, but Xelgad is the FLOOR function used in any other parts of the damage calculation? I've never been able to exactly match up the values in my spreadsheet to those displayed by the tooltips, so I'd love to know if floor (or ceiling) are used in the potency/ability mod calculations as well.

![]() it's nice, but kinda meh, of course this is just solo, it should increase with group/raid buffs here is one of me casting basically just that on a solo mob (so no procs or anything, I did have to get my pet to attack it cause it's for combat use only. ![]() I could guess in raids, with procs/temps and stuff it could hit a single target mob for around 3 mil ish (excluding the new crits). at max range. |
