Blocks/Hits/Ripostes/Parries - just a little bit of data

I played a couple hours in runnyeye last night. went from 29 to 30. Lots of mobs were yellow, orange, red to me.

I took damage from physical attacks 813 times.

Riposted 40 times.

Blocked 169 times.

Parried 206 times.

otherwise avoided attack (mob missed) 157 times.

Tottal attemtps at harming me phsyically: 1385

%Successful: 58.7%

%Riposted: 2.8%

%Blocked: 12.2%

%Parried: 14.8%

Blocked as a % of Total hits avoided: 30%

I guess I'm assume the hits I blocked would have otherwise hit me and made me lose health... dunno how accurate that is.

I'm using a shaped fir tower shield.

I'm sure buffed varied over the fight as did my stats, especially since we were using HOs and such. Consider this a real world scenario. SMILEY

What were you using to collect your data? I have interest in these numbers as well and will be able to provide data on a continual basis. If you mention the tool you use to collect the data I will be sure to use the same one so we can compare data.

Very unscientific method I use.

I asked Klaysia to update her Statlyzer but I don't think thats going to happen she didn't reply to me.

What I did is I noticed when you get hit by a mob it says the mob "hits you" when they hit you with a special it says they crush you, pierce you, or slash YOU. When the mob misses you it says crushes, pierces, slashes, YOU. When you block, or parry it specificaly says those. So I did a count in Excel being careful not to count the same. In excel when you use the FIND function it will list all occurances and the total count. So I just checked to make sure I wasn't doubleing up on anything. Not the best method but not bad.
