Personally I make them. Have a L25 Alchemist who makes both my Monk & War/Guard skills. Were it not for that not sure I could afford many. I'm amazed at how some folks think money is just falling off of trees in this game. I'm one of those that, unfortunately, can't leave my machine on unattended while I sell all the time so, with a few exceptions, I'm pretty much stuck with /auc selling and what I can get for the various quests. With that it is very difficult to stay ahead of the curve on armor, weapons, etc.  /shrug  I just live with it )

Tradeskill.... I can make 2-5g a night easy just auctioning my Alchemy services whie I'm online. Mass Production of alchemy stuff and leaving up for sale, I sell out whatever I make within 24 hours. Plus I can make my own AppIVs. I trade Inks for my wifes AppIV (Warden). And were now in the process of purchasing items for Adept 3s. Not to mention all the other cool player made stuff.

depends on how you play...even if you dont craft you can make allot of money. I dont craft.  I get all my money from loot , collections, and selling stuff i dont use anymore. Question? do you sell everything u loot to vendors? or do you have a market board and sell? im lvl 26 and have over 80g from selling overnight on the boards, and with the way things are going ill have 1p b4 i hit 27.  Marketboard is your best friend , because he makes you money

Maybe so, but as another poster pointed out, not everyone has the ability to stay logged on when they are not playing. So for many the ingame vendors (or standing around /ooc or /auc ) is the only way they have to make any money at all.

They way I understand it though your ability to earn goes up drastically once you hit 30 and can get to the Tier 4 lands (Zek and EL).

Know your roll and be very selective of what you buy. You do not have to buy anything but food and a market board in game till past 20. Some stuff you can sell to merchants for more than the going rate on the boards. But most of your stuff you can sell on the boards for a decent amount. If you cannot sell on the board, then I would try to set something up with a guildie that can. I have two boxes that run 24/7 so I can always sell for my guildies. If you dont have a good guild.......your missing out. Also your guild should be the first place to look for scrolls, if your guild doesnt have any resources then shame on them.
