With SWG announced to be shutting down....

TBH I have no use to go anymore but have paid for a weekend pass, how about doing the right thing and tossing me a refund?

Luckily I would go to Vegas without a reason, but man I have to imagine some swg only attendees will be peeved.

We would love all the SWG registerants for Fan Faire to come, and share the vent and memories with us. To that end anyone who registered with SWG as their main game will receive an email shortly.

Watch for it and make sure your check your spam filters.

I have no issues with SOE at all...it is just a waste of money for me as I was going primarily to backup a profession senator that cannot attend. TBH there has been an outstanding turnaround lately with GM and forum mod responses lately. It has been a solid reflection on SOE...

Luckily I like Vegas regardless and now the wife (non-gamer)can't mock me for going to fan faire SMILEY So I guess that's good?

SWG doesn't end for another 6 months.

I can't wait to hear what devs have planned to make sure SWG goes out on a high note. I also think it's a great opportunity to thank those Devs who have made SWG a game worth missing and being upset that it is coming to an end. If it wasn't for their hard work, folks wouldn't care that it's going away.

We aren't the only one's upset...I've heard reports that many SOE folks took it hard as well. Fan Faire is a chance to say thank you for crafting a great game. It's also a great place to possibly find that next great game to get into.
