![]() As far as I can tell, all versions of the tree quest grant the same exact item ... and there's no status reduction on any of the quested/purchased stuff. The status on the crafted stuff is pretty minor, since it is all essentially tier 1 stuff. The biggest difference is that the crafted fireplaces can have their flames adjusted, the vendored one cannot.The sconces and the candle groupings use the same base model (design) as last year, but come in 4 different colors.All in all, it is "fluff", but it is fluff that we've been begging for, for quite a long time. ![]()

Frostfell (and other parts of GU30) has been getting extra nudges, tweaks, fixes and polish before it hits the Live servers.I'm hoping you folks are all getting as excited about this as I am!! Make sure you've cleaned out some bag and house space for all this wonderful stuff!

Well it is now December 20th and it isn't in yet. Hopefully they will surprise us with it later this morning. I see that it is live already on Everquest, just wish they could get it live on Everquest II. Maybe asking that this holiday stuff be up and running more than a couple of days before said holiday is asking alot.

well, work just denied me any vacation time before Christmas. I was going to ask off for the next two days, so I can pretty much say that this should be the big update. It wouldn't be right if I got the update and time off to play it, so since there isn't any time off...this will be the LU

Frostfell will be around for @ 2 - 3 weeks. You may miss those discovery tags but you won't miss the fun. ![]() |

Aye, if this is like last year, it will stick around for "at least" 2 weeks. Last year, it stuck around a little longer, so everyone could get their gifts.I sort of skimmed over it in my article, but Gardy Giftgiver has LOTS of gifts to give you, and will give you a different one (in random order) off the list, on request, once every 24 (RL) hours. You may miss the discoveries, but if you can even log in for a couple minutes here and there before/after w*rk, you can claim your snowglobes and such while waiting for your holiday time off.

![]() *pokey* In no where did I see that you mentioned that you can "Take Serving" of each of the Food Items. (once placed in house) The House Food Items will give you a serving of [ whatever ] that will give you a buff that last 5 hours of either health or power regen. It's just newbie food but .. lol .. oh .. it's also NO TRADE and NO ZONE so (1) Serving at a time. Eat, Drink & be merry for the next 5 hours. Perfect for a under 10 adventurer but high level crafter ..

![]() That wasn't implemented when I last checked them on Test, so wasn't mentioned ... nor was the newest flame setting for the hearths that I just got a screenie of (festive flames).I'm working on the furniture gallery page for all of these items right now (screenies in progress on the other machine) and will add that info in. Am about to re-shoot the food shots now, just zoning a couple extra times as I type this, to get a proper book to use for scale purposes as it seems I moved all of the photographer's to a different home so they'd be out of the way. {snicker}

The site has now been updated with a new article in the Furniture section of the site with Frostfell 2006 Furniture. The guide not only includes images and status information, but also includes handy details on fireplace settings, food and drink effects and so on.Merry Frostfell, everyone!!~Mum

![]() Good Job as always Niami Something I noticed last night with the "His Festive Mood" Outfit is that it will change colors on females, so there is another color choice. It's White with Red instead of the Red with White. ------ I have to say I am *tickled pink-red & green* with this years Frostfell Fun! Findin & Kaitheel (?) did an amazing job of getting this whole thing together! The Frostfell zone is really fun! I love sliding down the rainbow and dancing with the Fauns! If I had to wish for anything more .. it would be to be able to ride the flying reindeer! (psst: next year, please!!) I love harvesting the presents! I haven't really heard to many bickering about node stealing. Once or twice. But, since they pop so fast it's perfectly understandable to lose a present (or a hit off one) due to some graphic glitch or to a shorty standing in the present! *laugh* ... I have my *fingers crossed* now that they have added a few FOOD : [ house item ], maybe this means we can get some more added to the world with more holidays ... (ie: Errolis Heart Shaped Candy Boxes, Plates of Cookies for Santie-Claws, Birthday Cakes ( EQ2's 3rd ) .. etc .. ) |

I have accidentally stolen from someone's node in there due to the fact that I can see the presents but as I run up and start harvesting it takes anywhere from 10-30 seconds before I actually see any other players around it. No idea why the players showing up lags but not the actual nodes.

Yes, all the ingredients other than the fuel are harvested from the presents. There are about 70 different items that can be harvested in there, though, so it is sometimes tricky to find what you need quickly.
