Looks like this was just a typo that was re-copied... If you check out EQ Players its mispelled.  This is in the process of being fixed.

Stormhammer is being re-added but it may take until Tuesday to take affect.  If you want to change so your badge says Stormhammer I believe you may beed to cancel and re-register.  Stormhammer may not be available on the list for the Fan Faire after this one, though that hasn't  been officially decided yet.

Thank you for bringing this to out attention Tharkis.

The credit card you use should be billed shortly after you fill out the registration form.  At least thats the way I understand things.

Registration is open til March 24th (unless we sell out before then), so you should be OK if you need to wait.  We will also be selling passes at the door.

Just wondering...

I am not sure yet who is comming from my guild, I know there are 4 of us already. If we get 6 and people have signed up for the Gold pass already will we get reimbursed. I would hate to miss the dev brunch because guildies don't show up.

I can't afford to go unfortunately SMILEY but I go and fiddle with things anyway, so I went to the register page, pressed register, select a random option and then recieve the following message:We are sorry, but registration for the Fan Faire has been limited to Station Members with valid player accounts only. Please click your browser back button to sign in with a valid log in name and password. The only game I subscribe to is MxO, but since it just got posted up on the DN1 site I thought it would probably be best to post it here.Jeffers

I wont be going sthis time for two reasons.
1. To be honest I think its over priced since more games are going instead of just eq'ers. Ive been to the last 7 of the last 8 FF and Iam sad to say not this one.

2. I cant afford it even if I wanted to go the hotel I know gave a discount but I think it should have been a bit cheaper than it was.

Ive been playing eq now for over 4 years and since then all the prices have went up we took half out servers down and merged them and also the monthly fees have went up at the same time. I know Sony lost some gamers over the past year or so and they have added alot of new content which is nice. But maybe if they come down some on prices more might be arround. EQ has paid for its self years ago it might be time to kick back some to the loyal players?
I will truely mis going to this FF its not all about the money but I know for alot of people it can be. For me it is money at this time. If it were for 3-4 nights and price of FF were a hundred of more cheaper Iam sure more people would come.

I hope everyone that goes has fun and gets all crazy I know I have had quite a few good times at FF.

I'm a FanFaire noob and I have a question or 2 about the "Bring Friends" deal. First, If myself and the 2 friends I bring all purchase the Classic Pass do we all get upgraded to the Gold Pass or just me for registering the 3 of us? It's not very clear in description. Secondly, do I need to register all 3 of us and purchase the passes on my credit card to qualify for the deal? I am planning to register this weekend and we all want to do the Dev Brunch. It was my understanding that the brunch assignments will be emailed before the FanFaire. Is the upgrade and brunch assignment given before the FanFaire or at check-in? We just don't want to miss out on the brunch and I need to know how to proceed with the registration. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the deal as it appears in the registration post.

Bring Friends!Register yourself and 2 guests for the ClassicPass to receive an upgrade to the GoldPass!  This offer applies to online pre-registration only and is not valid for onsite registrations.

i'd posted these on another thread but thought they'd be more likely seen here sry for the dbl post...and i added a question...

i was thinking of buying two gold passes and have my wife attend the dev brunch along with me, any way to make sure we are scheduled for the same brunch?

side note : she is doing ok at playing the dirge, is at lvl 8 and about to leave the isle...and in for a crash course in pvp...but i think she'll hold up well.

another question on planning, i have seen a few posts indicating that the marriot where the faire is being held is currently booked...is this true? i'd rather not have to bother with any commuting personally, and want to stay close to the action heheh

my wife doesn't have an eq2 account of her own, she has just started a char on mine...should i register her using this toon? and well hopefully this will not keep me from registering one from the same account...also sry to ramble...i'd read somewhere that registrars without an account would be given a trial version...is this prior/during/after/or an error as the trial would be handy atm as i kinda prepare her ingame i could play with her instead of sitting with her while she plays....

According the the Attendees section of the Fan Faire page, only 6 of us are attending from EQOA. While I enjoy the odds of winnning some EQOA contest... that seems rather depressing as compared to all the EQ and EQ2 gamers attending. Is the site being updated daily?, or is this the real truth of the matter?

This could be a true number however if I remember correctly from last Fan Faire, many EQOA fans signed up under EQII since they play both.  I bet that's what's happening again this time around.  As you've seen already the Who's going thread has way more then 6 EQOA players listed.
