Still loseing your Merc

Ok I finish up the Sig quest line after wed patch Because the patch notes said we wouldnt lose the merc we had. Let me tell you I lost my Elite merc and I am not Happy. If this goes to live like this I will not do this sig and I dont think others will either If they have a elite merc or better

why I do not want to do the quest. Because i thought I could lose my elite mercenary. I did the quest last night because I thought it was safe to do the quest and not happy about it . i lost my merc

MERCENARIES

Quest related mercenaries will now place your original mercenary on reserve rather than forcing you to replace.

This did not happen you guys need to check back into this please

Just finished the signature questline and from doing this zone. Lost the rare Kenny merc

Either fix the no losing merc thing, or let elite merc's be rehired.

I just don't want to lose Kenny. Even if he does dies so much

Wow less than 24 hours Befor launch and this is still happen to people. Come on guys fix these bugs befor it goes live

yep, just happened to me. Lost Merc Perrin.. I had the quest merc in Obol ran around kill'n stuff with him, then zoned to the guild hall, and poof "no" mercs at all, not even perrin. Went back to Obol and still "no" mercs..

Which quest merc? Are you referring to Oligar? He shouldn't even zone at all how did you manage to get him to return to Obol with you?

Lol, don't know how I managed it Gninja, just when I zoned back into Obol I had no merc so I opened my persona/merc tab, and clicked return merc and poof there he was.. SMILEY

Now after killing several mobs with him doing all the work, I decided to zone to HoT's guild hall, and poof "all" my mercs were gone, both Oligar and my poor ole Perrin. SMILEY

Would love to get Perrin back without having to recamp him.. oh wait.. not gonna matter anyway, as this last day for beta.. hahahhaha

I can confirm that this happens. I am standing outside (on my mystic) of Harrows End with Oligar as my merc. When I finished the quest and zoned out of the tower, I opened my char window to bring my Skyshrine merc back. Oligar's name was in the window, so I clicked resume... and voila.. there he was.

EDIT to add: I did not suspend him when I zoned from Obol Plains to Eidolon Jungle, but he did not zone with me. However, when I opened my character window to call my Skyshrine merc back, I had completely lost the merc, and would need to return to Skyshrine to hire him again.
