Transmuting Max Level 225?? :-o

My toon is only a transmuter (not a tradeskiller or adorner). Was leveling her transmuting today and maxed her out at transmuting level 225. I cannot get her any higher and it says I am maxed 225/225. But that only allows me to transmute level 50 items. Why is her transmute level maxed out at 225 when levels go all the way up to 425?? Is there a book or quest or something I am missing? Thanks, Confused...

Your max transmuting level depends on your level (craft or adv. whichever is higher)

If your max transmuting skill is 225 it means your highest level is (225/5) 45. Either adventuring or crafting. Your character's max skill is level x5.
