![]() I'm new to decorating, but after having viewed the various homes on the leaderboards I thought I would give it a whirl. I appreciate the help I've gotten from fellow members of the decorating community and wanted to share some of the pictures from my first house. Some tips or suggestions are welcome, I had so much fun I have decided to continue in my decorating addiction. I haven't decided to publish this house, just yet as I still have some 'tweaking' to do to some of the tiles and other items Tait "Stekol" the family attorney maintains ownership of this Uncanny Estate in South Freeport, as well as the other Ste'kol family homes and business for legal purposes. This is the main entry: The Art Gallery: Billiards Room (yes that is a pinball machine in the corner): Dining Room and Bar: Travel Hub (because I had so much fun I had to buy one of each): Kitchen: Master Bedroom: Please feel free to PM me or whisper me on Immauri on Antonia Bayle with any suggestions, tips, etc. |

![]() Very cool! That light above the pool table is awesome. Only suggestion I have is to put the address to the home at the top of your post. |

Thank you! It is listed under Stekol in South Freeport, and it is definitely the Uncanny Estate. I haven't published it 'just' yet as I have a few minor adjustments to make in some of the tiles. Right now various friends come here to enjoy a casual evening when the venues close for the night or for private meetings, so until I finish with the next addition in the Ste'kol family housing I let them enjoy it without fear of a tourist overhearing any of their secret meetings. I had a lot of help, inspiration, and suggestions from various people in the decorating community including Jazabelle, Tinkerbele, and Jesdyr (You guys rock!) and the project from start to finish took 4 days. |

![]() What a fantastic job. It's really hard to believe that you are new to decorating. I love the unique light above the billiard table. This certainly looks like a labor of love and I can see you having a wonderful time with all those other homes judging by the portals |

![]() Thank you! I still need to get the hang of tiling without skipping and shimmers. My main computer (the one I took the pictures with) show little to no shimmers, but when I am on my laptop I can still see a few (the laptop doesn't have as good of a video card as the desktop). I watched A LOT of videos on how to use the layout editor, read the tutorials on a few websites before I got started, and asked a ton of questions in the homeshow channel. |

![]() The effect on the flooring is really awesome to see in person and I love your collection of dragons in the art area. Your messages under each portal are just too cute too! You have a really nice home
