...you'd think our quest numbers and whatnot would be listed on the Players site.  But, try as I might, I couldn't find that information anywhere.

Or am I just blind and daft and missing it somewhere?

I used to enjoy looking up the number of quests I'd completed and seeing what my rank was on my server, and comparing it to other servers.  I really don't care about kills and max hits, to be honest.

Hi,

the Quest Figures seem also to be messed up a bit...

I have 4450 (more or less) Quests in my Journal, but my Achievement says 4550 (giving me the Title for 4500).

Not counting the Collections, where i have 550+.

Maybe this should be fixed and then included in the eq2players / equ.

Regards, theriatis.

Eq2Mission has leaderboards.

The quest count seems inaccurate. It matches neither my journal count nor my achievement count. But it gives you some idea of your rank.

My theory is that your journal no longer lists quests that have been deleted from the game content, but the count completion remembers them.

Either that, or the completion count takes into account repeatables.

Another side note:  quest count while betraying will include the various betrayal missions and quests under the Betrayal category, and there can be quite a few.  After you come out of exile, the entire category disappears and the quest count gets reduced by that number.

I'd like to get the quest leaderboard back too.

please SOE , allow us to compete on something else that DPS ...

something that casual and non raid people can enjoy...

Quests are the basis of Everquest license , aren't  they ?

or did this drop within the race for DPS the recent expansions introduced ...

I too would like a quest leaderboard back. A few guildies of ours strive for doing as many quests as they can find.

As for the EQ2mission site it is hardly updated or current. The last time I checked my main character there the information had not been updated in 15 days according the the top of the page.

There is a link on EQ2Mission when viewing a character to Refresh the data.

For folks wanting Leaderboards info, we've been directing people to EQ2Mission. Hmm

By the way, straight from the horse's mouth: Data.SOE.com -- Top 25 Quest Completers

The EQ2 Mission site seems a little broken right now...

But I wish the data feeds would include quest info - like what quests you have finished and active.

And recipe books - I wish they would include what recipe books you have scribed.  That would be awesome!

Well this is what I get when I try and look up my main character :

This data was accurate as of 2012-05-16 13:32:03 UTC (3 months ago). The data here often lags the actual statistics of your characters in-game.

This data only includes what a character carries, not what is in their bank, and it represents a snapshot of the data at some point in time. It may include self buffs, group buffs, and other temporary effects. It also includes worn items, so if your numbers seem low, take off the artisan's tunic.

Some of these statistics are rather wonky. This is often due to oddnesses in the SoE database. It is also includes GM characters, so if you feel your scores are too small, consider that a GM is likely skewing the statistics.

Yes, my characters are set to share and update from within the game and I send the data manually every day or so while playing to try and keep them updated. I can click on "Refresh this Data" as often as I like and it does not change a thing.

I looked up my secondary main that I play and this is what I get for him :

So I'm not sure what's up with the site but it is definately not updating on a regular basis.

Glenedhel, You shouldn't have to click the in-game manual update. Your character is reexported to the Data Feeds API every time you camp or zone. Not sure why clicking "Refresh this Data" on EQ2Mission isn't working but I think that's something on their end not SOE's.

EQ2U updates every time you zone as long as the last update was at least 5 minutes ago (just to have some flood control in there). Sometimes we get strange data like 0 quests completed or reduced stats, but zoning again fixes it.

It's frustrating to hear that people want Leaderboards and aren't able to find a site that meets that need.
