I have returned to the game after some years away. I've been a member of a guild for several years. When I checked activity, I see that no members have logged on in years. We have a 60's level guild with a magnificently furnished and resourced gbuild hall. I would love to see this guild renewed .

Our authority structure has several levels. I am next to the highest. I can invite but cannot promote. Only four people can do so, and they are long gone. Does anyone know of a way that this guild can be restored with new membership? I'm sure some players would love to take advantage of the prestige and resources already accumulated. Is there anyone I can contact or appeal to so that I can turn the guild over to others after a certain period of time has passed? Thank you for your help and advice.

I believe if you /petition they'll give you the info you need to start the process to shift leadership of the guild.

Mermut is correct. Petition to say the leaders are no longer playing. Once a GM has verified how long they have not played you can have yourself or another member who is playing promoted to leader.

I actually believe they initiate a vote process.  But as others stated, start with the petition.

Maybe a change Atan. In a guild I was in before all the leaders left. I petitioned and said to make one of those still playing leader. They made me leader since I had sent the petition, which I guess was just the quickest and easiest thingto do at that time.
