Location: Tinkerbele - SQ - Personal Dojo - Crushbone Server (edited- now published for visitors SMILEY )

This is just a little project, but completely different in style for things I've done before.

I originally started the place a few months back when I bought the dojo when they were on sale. I started by using all grotto logs thinking that since it was so small of a house item count would be ok, but it wasn't :p So then I tried with troll chairs, it looked beautiful, but the collision on the depth of the chairs and issues sinking them into the dojo walls killed that idea. So, the project was on hold for months. Then I saw Bibbony use kerra steps turned flat side up in her cabin in areas, so I thought I'd give those a try. It worked great for the look I was going for! (There's still collision issues with the steps, but most is hidden with thicker walls. You just can't walk directly under the windows :p ) So, thanks for the inspiration Bibbony!

It's such a tiny place I had issues getting pic angles, so please forgive the awkward shots.  Anyways, hope you guys enjoy

Entering the cabin, kitchen to the left

I was so excited that for the first time, my guild hall door actually went with the decor of a place lol

living room area to the right of entry

through the doorway into a little office/workspace

other side of room with work table for skinning small animals, building traps and laying pelts to dry

small bedroom to the right (and a little sewing area for rainy days)

and the bathroom is off to the other side of work area

other side of bathroom with a little storage nook

Adorable! Very well done. It's so cozy and comfly, you easily visualise someone coming in through the door, stamping snow off his/her boots, and then getting warm by the fire with a hunting dog curled up by his/her feet.

I really, really like what you did with the starry night tile as a backdrop for the cabin's windows.

Cozy! I loved the kerra stairs idea for walls. I've been gone for a couple of weeks and had a nice suprise when I went to visit. You did a really great job with it.  SMILEY

I wonder how many teak shelfs you have used for this lovely house . The whole style is awesome. It's cosy and it really feels like outside it must be tremendously cold. Great job!

Fantastic! I've been wanting to see and possibly do something like this (for my ranger) for years. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thi is a grand little wooden abode. I love it. I love how you used the stage stairs as cabin logs. Clever thinking.

That is fantastic work. Gives me hope for me own little dojo...don't need a huge space to do amazing things. Even if I'm sure it helps SMILEY

Great job!  Rustic is a harder look to achieve than it seems like it should be - you have done a most excellent job getting it just right!  /hugs - I miss you my friend!

Awe, thank you guys for all of the comments. I was suprised to see this post brought back up. It's one of the top 3 favorite ones I "finished", so I was happy to see you guys liked it as well SMILEY Truly means a lot comming from so many talented people.

Gracey!!!! I miss you too!! It was about 5 or 6 days ago now my husband was apparently watching me stare blankly at some empty space in a place I was working on. I guess I sat there for so long he finally said "What's wrong? You look like you need something", my response was "I need a Gracey!" Hope you are having fun and can't wait to have you back in game someday SMILEY

This is a very cool idea. I love the use of the stairs as logs. That's very clever.
