12 Day of Holidays! (14 December)

In EverQuest II, we are currently celebrating Frostfell; and for twelve days of Frostfell, as part of the celebration we're picking one top selling item per day and putting it on sale at a huge discount for that one day only. The items will change over around 10-11am (pacific time) each morning from now until the 24th of December. Be sure to check in each day to see what's on sale.

And on the second day of Frostfell... pick up the stylish Ratonga Heritage Armor Crate for only 800SC!

If all the 12 days of Frostfell are going to be is relisted sales items from the Black Friday sale, even though these are less of a discount than the BF sales were, Why not just extend the Black Friday sale thru the 24th? There were actually useful things on sale for that one day, where many of the player base was out of town visiting family and missed it. I find it hard to beleive that either the Pegesus or the Rat costume would be top sellers on the marketplace at anytime over XP potions or Transfer tokens. But, since SOE is holding all the cards they can say whatever they feel like it the top selling SC item.... a method soon to be expanded into player polls. "No, no, we swear that is what everyone wants/buys, honest!"

The whole Marketplace is a non-event for me as a rule, so the 'specials' don't mean much. I did however buy the Ratonga Heritage Armor at the Black Friday sale. My latest character is a Ratonga Paladin and I'm really liking him. In a rare lapse of restraint, I decided that he should be the best-dressed Avenger on the block. Who cares if the dogs 'sense that he doesn't belong in the city'? Stupid dogses.

But some folks have the cash to burn on stuff like that and I'm fine with SOE subsidizing my gameplay with their money.

I like the Nightchord cap better, but it's inconvenient because you actually have to kill a mob to get it. Who has time for that?
