Lucan D'Lere was playing WoW while he was gone, wasn't he? There's no other explanation for him to be wearing such hideously WoW-inspired "armor".

Why you set an link to the beta registration when the beta was over?

When i klick on the link to register for the beta i receive an error message that says the registration is over and the beta event is closed...

Under the picture it states Freeport will be available in Game Update 61... that should actually be Game Update 62. SMILEY

Absolute garbage design on Lucan and his guards. Even as much as George Lucas messed up Star Wars he didn't slap Darth Vader into a pink tutu. I like the city mind you it's great, but the armor sets for the guards and Lucan himself is a crime.

Please do not change the faction purchaseable Freeport armor to these new skins, keep the classic look. Or give us the option of viewing Faction npcs in thier classic skins.

Evil died a little inside today...

actually I like Lucan's new armor. I imagine he would get some huge bulky, make him look like a tank on legs armor now they he doesn't have Soulfire as an intimidation tool.

Please stop with the bad B grade fantasy movie wowish super oversized armor already. None of this stuff looks remotely practical and evil is all about practical. Slightly large is one thing. These guys look like the compensating for much? With that chest/face piece Lucan looks like a reject from a power ranger tryout. Please try to stream line evil in the future.

I think you mean Warhammer/Warhammer40K inspired, not the MMO though. Their stuff has looked that way since the 80s. I'm just glad he didn't transform into a cartoon and bring back his Pandaren guards from Pandaria. This is proof that EQ2 still has a long way to fall to being totally dumb and unoriginal. At least our lame panda men are the Hua Mein and don't come from a place called Panda Land.

i think that armor looks pretty cool.

way better then slapping a new blah color onto the same armor pattern we had in t1,t2,t3,t4,t5,t6,t7,t8 that looked like crap in t1 7 years ago

prob wont be able to wear it anyways so whats it matter
