I don't know. A option to have tufted ears (like a lynx) would be nice. Or a bit of a ruff like a small version of a lion's mane. That doesn't seem like it would be out of place. Not entirely sure what one would do for a ratonga, maybe add a tuft of matching hair on top like a little cowlick hehe.

Certainly wouldn't hurt to have more fur patterns for either race (and more scales for Iksar.)

Kerran heads look like they should have hair. (females atleast)

They would look BEAUTIFUL with hair.

I can understand male ratonga/kerra.

But Female Kerra's atleast deserve hair.

Clipping isn't an issue. (it would look natural anyways if the hair cut through the ears)

The only issue is that have ugly accessories that takes up the slot.

I suggest to add hair over accessories.

More hair options for all races (not just kerra/ratonga) would be nice.

Now that would be great.  New fur patterns for kerra and ratonga as well as new hair for other races (I don't care about that but just to make it fair).

+1

Introduce them on the Station Market as 'Wigs' (because you KNOW that this wouldn't be free), allowing any race to use any hairstyle, provided the programming allows it.

Well I think The elf hair could be shared between ALL elves since they all have the same heads.

They could all have basically the same hairstyles but it would have to be modified to work correctly on most races.

Male kerra, I can understand having a mane.

But females...well, female felines tend to be more sleek for a reason. They're the main hunters, at least with lions. There is no anatomical reason they should have 'hair' in the sense of human hair. Ratonga shouldn't have hair, either, except that one goatee thing they used to have, maybe. Other than that, again, it just doesn't make sense.

well its not like they have hair, but they need something right there that grows.

and some kerras are "Blending" in as you see in freeport, maybe they want to comb it or clean it and make it look like hair to appear more like everyone else.

but the bald spot...bothers me.

you show me a cat, other then a Male Lion, with 'hair' like your suggesting.

you won't find it in the females for the aformentioned reason of being primary hunters. and the only large cat that has 'hair' like your thinking of is a male lion.

that's thier whole reason for the jewelry decor...becuase thier whole body is covered in fur, which by it's nature, save again in a male lion, doesn't grow out like human 'hair' does.

you know what, why do I get the feeling his was inspired by Tala watching Thundercats and wanting to look like Lion-o or Cheetara?

One is happy to have escaped SecondLife and the Furries who infested the servers. One does not wish to see the Furries arriving in this game and turning Kerran females into Jessica Rabbit.

I hate to break it to you but there are already quite a few furries playing EQ2.  I'm not sure I want to know what Jessica Rabbit is though.

Jessican Rabbit is Roger Rabbit's wife from the book and movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

However, she's a human toon while he's a rabbit toon.  So doesn't quite work with Lethe's comment.

As for the whole hair thing, well, Norrath is a magical place.  Could say that some Kerran or Ratonga or Iksar wanted hair and got a spell for it.  /shrug

And there is hair for those races in game.  Do the quest for the Cella queen's head, you get the head and it gives green hair with snakes. But you get hair for your non-human type race.

Why can't Kerra females have long mane-type hair?

Why can't Kerra males?

If the race looks good even "I" would play it, and i'm picky, I want a race with hair.

Kerra's are great just the way they are.

This thread makes me picture a kerra with a big blond bouffant which would look terrible.

I like playing a race not covered in fur and with a head of hair. Which is why my main is no longer a kerra but is now a woodelf.

I see, so if you don't like it it means nobody can have it?

NEVER! We are scaly lizards! An ancient, prideful race whose beauty need not be concealed with frivolous hairstyles. *shudders* Begone, vermin! Take your outlandish ideas elsewhere. (anyways, if you want cats with hairstyles, simply wait for Skyrim. The Khajiit will be more then sufficient for this. Though Argonians are far superior in any case. SMILEY)

Oh?

And why not?

I think your opinions are rediculous. IMO

I didn't even have to resize the hair at all, the model size is the exact same as the kerras.

Anyone who thinks that is not pretty please ... tell me?
