I suggest a Group Finder feature for this game, that spans all the servers. Then it won't matter if the servers are dead or not, if you opt into the group finder, anyone from any server can be grouped up for a dungeon. Works for WoW quite well, I hear. Might work well for this one too.

Um, announced 3 weeks ago at Fan Faire? Although the cross-server part will take time to implement.

Until it is cross server, it will do little good with lower level grouping.

Would cross server include EQ2x.... hmmm.

The AA changes will finish the job of killing low-level grouping.

I don't think so, I think it would actually encourage them when I can't solo orange con heroic mobs due to my banked aa. SMILEY

The average person is pretty screwed yeah, but anyone in a raid guild or with buddies can just get a 90/300 SK in raid gear to drag them through PoA for a few hours. Don't worry, nobody you know will be inconvenienced by these changes.

While this is true, I personally find this incredibly borring.  I do it if I just have to have a 90 tune in 2 days or less, but with a viable dungeon finder, I'd rather level up using it even if it is slower.  Simply cause playing with others vs autofollowing some mentored toon is far more entertaining to me.

When I play wow occasionally, I use the heck out of this feature and enjoy it.
