Is this really necessary? It just seems really pointless and frustrating. It makes you just sit around doing nothing for what?

I agree it needs to be lowered to 15-30 seconds.

From what I remember, way back in the early days pre EoF there was not a timer but, during one of the expansions there was a claim item and you could glitch it to recieve multiple by claiming them really fast. Thats all I remember though.

Yeah, I've always felt it was a bit much. I usually, when I make a new character, have a ton of stuff to claim on it and man... that can take quite a while.

I don't see a point to the timer at all really.  I think it's a waste of everyones' time. I don't imagine SOE would like it if they were in the process of getting payment and had to wait a minute between each one...  Although, a taste of their own medicine would be fairly amusing. SMILEY

It's most likely in there to prevent exploitation of the server/client to grant multiples of the same entitlement.

Well then, keep the timer, but allow us to highlight/choose all of the /claims we want before clicking the actual 'claim' button. No need to worry about the 'multiple glitch' and we don't have to waste time waiting for each claim.

I agree [Removed for Content] this. Also, if we cant already, we should be able to claim all of a stack of items at once if we choose to.

This would not work well for me at all, but I can see where it would be handy.  I get no trade lon stuff that  I am not sure which toon is going to get it or even which server (so heirloom won't help)

He never said anything about heirloom, he said choose all much like in windows where you can select multiple files to move. It would be the same sense.

It would be nice if the the one per account items could be heirloom.  That way if you decide you want it to belong to a different toon on the account you could simple move it via the shared bank.  Or that toon as a  trustee could pick it up in their bags.

That would be a fantastic idea.  +1

That could be exploited on the Exchange servers.

I agree it is very tedious claiming items, especially on a new toon.

So make it 10 seconds then. In the computer world, that's still an eternity but it would certainly speed up the claiming of multiple items~

then the time should be 5-10 seconds. 1 min is a bit of an overkill.
