not allowed???

Just created a character and lvled them to 20, excited for a last name i thought would go hand in hand with my characters name and personality, only to type it in and be told its not allowed?! can anyone please explain to me why the last name "Dreadful" would be banned from use? pretty pretty please!

I would /petition and ask politely what the problem with that name is.

It's an issue with the Dread something title.

They made it so you can't use the words from titles in your last name, rather lame imo.

Generally speaking, correctly spelled dictionary words aren't allowed as last names (unless they changed it while I wasn't looking).

name is dezmerelda. i was thinking of petitioning but heard the gms were super busy and didnt want to bother them with something so silly. just find it annoying that i see alot of people with rather offensive first and last names, but i cant have dreadful

There's two NPCs up in Barren Sky with the last name Dreadful:

Penny Dreadful

Ohzo Dreadful

They're a gnome sister and brother pair. Probably why you can't have the last name.
