Live Server Station Cash with PayPal? I call BS until proven otherwise.

My daughter saw something she liked on the marketplace and told me about it while we were playing last night so I thought I'd buy some Station Cash with my account and gift her it as a surprise.

And then I see they have a Station Cash sale until the 3rd... even better.

Except nowhere did I find the option to use my paypal account, only my credit card.

I'm sure I saw Smokejumper saying that Paypal now works with Station Cash so whats the deal?

I don't think you did. At least not for live servers.

You've never been able to buy it with anything other than a cc on file, or get cards in a physical store. The knowledge base and the station cash website's FAQ both state it's cc only, no other options.

yes, you can do it through paypal. if you go ingame > station marketplace > add funds, it will come up with several options, one of them will be to use paypal to adds funds.

Shame it doesn't do that from the station "MY ACCOUNT" website... I hardly ever do anything related to my account in game. Oh and great the mod moved this where no one who matters will see it and fix the problem.

You can do through My Account on the website. I bought some SC just yesterday, and the PayPal, SMS, Credit card, and card redemption were all there.

make sure when SOE fires up your browser to access your station account , it defaults to the EQ2 account your logged into and want to add funds to .

I didn't realize the browser on the computer I was using had defaulted to a station account for EQ2x that I no longer use ...

SOE CS can't / won't refund or transfer the funds to the EQ2 account that I was playing when I clicked the 'add funds' button .

and a test 'gift' of an exp potion from eq2x to live didn't work when I tried it .
