So!  A little over 5 weeks, too many cups of coffee, 160 plain maple dividers, 103 cobblestone tiles, and way too many peanut M&Ms later, I now present my seaside cottage!

Seeing as Dae is (RP-wise) a child and lives with someone else, I figured I'd use this space as a second getaway home for my alt Gineva.  I wanted a cozy place where a girl could get away from it all.  So here it is.

Special Thankies:  Jesdyr, for the layout editor.  This was my first big project working with layouts, and it was a joy to discover what the editor could do!  New From Diff and Duplicate are the bestest! Thankies!  <3 <3 <3

Location:  Daenie, Manors of Erolissi, New Halas, Antonia Bayle server.  (RP-wise belongs to Gineva)

VISITOR BEWARE!:  While zoning in should be right quick, it may take quite some time for the cottage to fully render after stepping through the teleporter.  It's recommended to take an afk to get a hot cocoa while you wait.

What's that down there?

The view from the docks.  The courtyard and the front of the house itself.  Cobblestone walls, "thatched" roofing.

A from above roof shot and one from up the mountain.

Ginny's kitchen and dining area, the heart of any home.  She does so love to cook -- even if she doesn't often have guests to cook for.  But hey, a girl can dream.

Rocking chair and butter churn in front of the hearth and the breakfast nook with a view of the stables.

A view up into what Tosta called the "basket" aka the roof.  It has a skylight!

Next up is the library.  Grab a book and have a seat or curl up on the pillows in the bay window.

The door in the library takes us to the fully enclosed patio.

And on to the personal quarters.  Bath, bed and sitting area off to the side, desk with a view of the workshop.

Back outside to the workshop off the north side.

(Warning: Anyone who mentions that this woodworker makes toys for the kiddos may be subject to a swift but humiliating death!)

And on over to the stables off the south side.  Horsies!

Well, that's it!  42 slots left for Frostfell decorations!

I just have to say - WOW!

That looks like something the devs designed and put in game - it's AMAZING.  I actually want to create a character and see this one in person and I rarely do that!

Fantastic work!!!

OMG !!!  How did you... never mind too many of those!

I have to come visit this.  It's just beautiful and the work it took must have been phenomenal.  Superb use of the layouts!

This is beyond incredible! Beautiful use with the cobblestone tiles SMILEY Your attention to detail shows in every single aspect of this creation! I really love the look of your bay window and seating area! The entire design is so cohesive and lovely, it's the perfect scene! The roofing is so intricate and your colors throughout the place keep it warm and rustic looking!

I'm in love with this retreat and would love to book a stay there! SMILEY

This is easily one of the most beautiful places I've seem on these forums.

If I didn't know how it was made or never played the game, I would have said it was made by SOE's art team and part of the game.

Ma'am, I take my hat off to you!

Outstanding!  I don't know what I like best, the rounded roof, beautiful windows, or beautiful interior decorating.  You have quite an amazing creation there.

Holy Moly! That's so amazing. I love it. Probably my favorite thing I've seen here on homeshow.... ever.

*edited to add that I kind of don't want to decorate anymore after seeing this LOL and to ask if you had any item count left for the actual home or did you leave it empty?*

Wow! I love this so much, I had to go actually see it before I could comment. Fantastic work on your stonehouse, I see we posted each ours at the same time, lol. Yours looks a lot more expensive than mine, and absolutely stunning both inside and outside. Two thumbs up!

I saw the first couple pictures and made Anastarisa go visit so I could see it, as I was already logged.  I may just go back again on my own so see the finer details.

Daenie, I am stunned at how beautiful this came out.

Where is Tock and his seal?
