Tanking advice (for Demitrik's Bastion)

Hi,

Looking for some advice/pointers/tips!

My friends and I have been trying out the Bastion - mostly to try and complete Ritsy's quest line for the hat.

We are:

Me (90 monk) - tank

90 Illusionist

90 Templar

90 Berzerker

90 Ranger

Not an ideal group makeup I know! Only 5 of us, and we are playing what we are playing!

The problem we are having in the bastion specifically is on Schteek Tavinos. We can usually get him to around 20-30% before it all goes horribly wrong.

What seems to be happening, is that I get hit for 14800-15200 from his AoE, which is followed up quickly by a melee hit that kills me.

If I could get another 3-4,000 hp that would probably give enough of a buffer so that I can be healed after taking a big hit. Or, getting a lot more mitigation.

So my request for help is what can I do here? What gear can I get easily that would give me a big HP or mitigation boost? There doesnt seem to be a huge choice on our servers broker.

Hit your stoneskin AA before the AE and stoneskin that 15k hit.

you can also use Outword Calm (the self ward) that will take 10-15k of that aoe. you can grandmaster it and it helps with aoe's.
