Agi line

I recently spec'd out of sta and wis for str and agi...

Maybe that's something everyone's known about for a while, but i haven't played / parsed the defiler much recently.

Anway, my $.02 is full agi with 8 pts in Spiritual Leadership is pretty killer.

Level 82 defiler / 203 aa's / decent, older gear (no bg gear) / nagafen.wakanta

yup, spiritual leadership rocks SMILEY

Especially when you are taking a lot of incoming damage, like in PvP

Yeah, Spiritual Leadership is pretty awesome. Fights like the above parse are a really weird aberration since that's a fight with tons of little hits from a horde of small mobs, but in pretty much any situation where you take damage it'll usually be a good 5-7% of your heal parse.

It's worth mentioning that it won't always work though. It's useless on Theer since his Manaburn AE is technically a triggered effect/proc/reactive/whatever, so it won't trigger it, for example.

I think for healing specs this expansion it's usually a question between str/agi/wis or sta/agi/wis - mystics have a stronger argument for str due to higher hit rate with puppy, and cast speed for cures isn't as strong as it once was, but I hate having useless points when dog dies to an unavoidable AE when I could have coagulate instead for an effective 1.2k hp buff.
