How about a mount appearance slot?

With the implementation of the new mounts - I was wondering if anyone thought it might be a good idea to add an appearance slot for mounts? Be nice to have the bonuses of one mount and get the appearance of another...

That would be great, most of the mounts since RoK look terrible.

I think this question comes up every week or so.. has a red named ever said WHY they dont / cant do it?

If you can use a weapon and make it look like you use another, and wear one armor but make it look like something else... why not allow us to be able to use one mount and look like another?

I also think it would be a good idea to have appearance slots for mounts. With the change to the SF Highland mount, I can no longer use it because it jossles around too much and I get motion sickness when trying to navigate my character. If there were appearance slots I could at least still get use out of the mounts I paid an extra $40 to have. Would equip a mount with a more even gait, like a horse for the appearance. I do realize they're adding the ability to hide mounts with next GU, but for traveling I like the look of riding a mount.

You can do an appearance mount of sorts if your toon can run faster on its own than the mount.

My Ratonga Swash has 62.5% run speed from her Earring of the Solstice and AAs. She runs faster on her own than her 50% LoN rhino.

So the rhino is just an appearance mount for my Swash.
