Sorcerer AA - Mental Recovery

Hail all,

In the sorcerer tree there is an option "Mental Recovery" where you can choose to have your ability recovery speed increased.

I am uncertain what this does exactly. Is there any advantage?

I am in doubt whether to choose the agility branch or the strength branch with Catalyst.

Recovery is the 1/2 second it takes in between finishing a spell and being able to cast another. This aa decreases that time. It may not seem like much but in a raid situation it can add up considerably.

I reset my aa's for crit dmg and speed left the shields and parry tree's open. Unlocked cat. and freehand wow HUGE difference ....i actually use root dot on mobs now where is before i just nuked....Ill root do heroic with freehand and Cat posted on my proc bar hit appocalypse does max dmg and eats mobs up a whole lot quiker last night the tick was more damaging than distortion i was casting it while it was eating. Didn't have time to vacum and clean mob first going to try that later and see if it does even better.

1.) yes i would defo get that, helps you to chain spells faster for more dps.

2.) Catalyst now goves you +25% crit bonus on your next spell, so this is also very usefull if you are casting Plaguebringer or some other strong spell.

yes it does stack with TC and UT also with the Troub/Dirge Allegro rocov upgrade
