can we keep it though? I mean it's look as it is right now is the only reason some people in my guild would even do the CoTA scaled up...and the only reason anyone would keep it rather then mute it or sell it.

The whole topic of censorship has always left me wondering... When you regard things purely on their merit (not what years of exposure has made you accustomed to), what is worse?1) Depiction of death, and acts of deliberate violence and murder?Or,2) Male or female characters in semi-revealing attire (no full nudity)?Anyone who plays EQ2, is playing a game where it is incredibly difficult to progress past lowbie levels, without participating in willful acts of violence, and committing what is effectively acts of genocide against mob populations.  I find it baffling that anyone willing to engage in wanton acts of violence on a video game, can have a problem with some bare skin (not full nudity, just skimpy) being available in a video game.But hey, some people would rather be bludgeoned to death by a spiked club, before being seen in a little bikini.  All power to you!

Yep, we know its a bug.  Thats how the breasts are done just in case there are accidents like this so you guys don't get pwnd for accidental nudity.  However, put in the bikini's.  If thats what people want, let them have it. My wife and I both play plate wearers, so we are covered from head to toe, but I can totally see the cloth and in some cases leather wearers going with the closer to nothing look.  I don't mind.  *waggles eyebrows*

Not sure if it's been changed, but a while back if someone was wearing cloth pants and you had your LoD(Level of Detail) on minimum it would look like for women lacy panties and for men speedo/briefs. That's what should be under the armor; not that hobo I've never worn anything else in my life pants and shirt. Besides, what was the point of the graphics artist to make leg and chest textures and with tattoos/runes if we can't see them? Atlest give us some shorts and for the women a tank top. XD I know it's not "period correct", but as long as it's not flying motorcycles (it is flying right?) like in wow, who cares?

I argue this point with friends all the time   Considering the fact that we are regularly commiting violent acts, what is wrong with a little skin showing in our ARMOR (not silly dresses).  Note I said a little skin.  Not asking for nudity, just a little skin showing with our armor (and ability to show off tattoos).  Giving us GI's usable by non-brawler classes is not the answer.  Show a little originality in our armor designs!

In the USA? Nudity is total and utter taboo. You can commit genocide on any number of virtual races, but if you show the slightest bit of skin, DOOM TO YOU ALL!!!!11!1!!111!oneone!

I just want something that isn't a total body-covering robe or mail without wearing the 'street walker' outfits. Is that too much to ask for? Seriously? Give us shorts and shirts that 'dare' to show off the midriff. Or even chain/plate mail that only covers the 'important' areas. I won't complain. And neither would the rest of your paying population.

And no surprise at all that this was fixed ASAP. To be frank, I'm surprised they didn't fix it on Monday.

That said - we're missing out on some great looking (IMHO) player model details because of the constant obsession of fully covering the characters. I think the aforementioned chainmail bikini would work great as an example of an item that should be developed. But, it's not like EQ2 is a huge team anymore. Developer resources are very stretched thin (especially when it comes to designing something brand new).
