and not one piece for their language quest? I have a character I am trying to complete an HQ on and in the last week have not had one territory marker drop. Is this quest out of the game? If so how do we learn this language?

Which goblins are you killing, exactly?

check your inventory, if you have one marker hidden somewhere! If you have ever looted one of them, but not examained it will just sit in ur inventory. And as it is a quest starter and needs to be examained, you won't see any further Markers. (I hate to admit it, but I noobed that up on an alt not to long ago)

This is likely the case. Somewhere, one is hiding SMILEY

Are you killing the Icegills in Everfrost? My zerker still needs three more language pieces, but after killing 300-400 goblins in EF, not one language piece has dropped. (bug reported that--a goblin is a goblin!)

If you're actively on the quest, I'd suggest trying somewhere like Enchanted Lands instead.

That was why I asked about "which goblins". A particular tribe may lack the tokens in its loot table, and if so, that's worth /feedback to mention.

Goblin tribes that I KNOW drop Goblin Territory Markers include:

  • Sapswill goblins on the Queen's Outpost
  • Blood Bone goblins in Stormhold
  • Necrosis goblins in Condemned Catacombs and in Antonica near the Catacombs entrance
  • Aqua Goblins in Butcherblock Mountains
  • Gleam and Glimmer Goblins near the back door of Ruins of Varsoon and outside in Thundering Steppes by that door
  • Mist Grinnin goblins in Tombs of Night
  • Runnyeye goblins in Enchanted Lands and Runnyeye
  • Fog Grimmin goblins along the coast in Enchanted Lands
  • Sootfoot goblins in Lavastorm
  • Cinderfoot goblins in Solusek's Eye
  • Icegill goblins in Permafrost

The aqua goblins are good to kill because if you go to the islands, you can also take care of your L&L for Sirens (and quite possibly the language for them as well---I don't remember off the top of my head which language Sirens use).

What about the Grobins around the Nursery area in Greater Fay? I know they drop the LnL items and count as Goblin kills for the kill-Achievement... not sure if they drop the language pieces tho...
