Even teams before match starts

I was in a Gears match yesterday where our side has 2 players and the other 6 (premade group I think) when the match started. Of course the full group picked up the relic and us 2 couldnt do a thing about it. it was a few mins later more joined us but by then it was too late.

The match shouldnt start unless there is only 1 player our not one side having x3 the number of players.
