Battlegrounds AA bug feedback

I gave BG a shot, I'll try it again more as we go on, I'm willing to give it a chance.

First impressions, you zone in, buff up and immediately get ganked. Buff up again, immediately ganked again. Of course the healer is targeted immediately and is the first to die.

Suggestion: Let healers heal on the run. This is a fast paced game similar to first person shooters, for the healer to have to stop and heal, especially the long group heals, just doesn't fit in the least with a fast paced game. If both sides healers can heal on the run then there is no advantage to either side.

I'm assuming there is some kind of match system where players of at least equal level are matched. But I thought we had a pretty good group makeup, but just got ganked repeatedly and repeatedly. After 10 or so ganks I just said the heck with it, it was NOT fun in the least.

My prediction: It will be a big hit with the Unreal, first person shooter gankfest type players. Not putting them down, just not my cup of tea. I must say I'm VERY disappointed this is the reason we didn't get Halas, and are not getting bugs fixed on live. I would have MUCH rather they put in 2 more instances for tokens than BG. I'll give it more tries though, I'm not a quitter.

well wait till you log out of battlegrounds and see you lose aa. aa's gotten reset. and just everything plainly screwed up. grats on just trying to push stuff out SOE

oh wow I just saw this, my AA's are reset?!?!?!? Thank God I only had 199AA, I still have them all. But what a pain to redo all my AA's.

WHY ARE MY AA RESET BACK TO 200/200. i had 216 AA prior to this patch ROLL BACK ASAP

The issue with AA's being reset seems to be a server configuration error. We have locked the battlegrounds world to keep new matches from starting up while we fix the configuration.

We will have more information very soon about how to proceed if you're missing some AA after coming back.

It's not localized to AA. I also lost all of my tradeskill exp.

Also all experience into level for tradeskills and adventure level. And, of course, all progress on the AA level being worked on.

This screams rollback.

I confirm its not just AA. I lost roughly 50% into level 88. I am now sitting at zero

hmmm a Server confiuration Error. Why was'nt the intergration of Battlegrounds into the servers looked into more effectivly during Testing. I know the Devs have gone to great lengths in testing to get this right....but when I hear of people having issues with loss of AA, and XP, as well as having their UI reset, I wander why something like this was'nt picked up at testing.

I dunno maybe I am overreacting. This could be one of those Glitches that was'nt picked up till BG's went live.

Don't they have test servers for this kind of thing?

All this for something hardly anyone wants.

Can't they just keep PvP to PvP servers so PvE players can play?

Lost 12-13 AA (can't remember if I was at 212 or 213 when I logged out this morning) on my conj, Cuendilar on Permafrost. All of my AA selections were also reset, even though the game seemed to know what I had before since it gave me back ghosted versions of all of the AA abilities when I was moved back to my server.

TS Experience was reset to 0% into 85

At least I got my first Klak'anon Cog...

Hope the devs are watching this thread right now... BG has a serious issue where we are losing all our progress towards our next level in both adventure and tradeskill experience, and anyone who has over 200 AA points is getting set back to 200.

*Edit* Oh forgot to mention my team won my first match and I didn't get my 3 gears. SMILEY

you also lost your adventure xp, so...being reset to 200 AA, losing tradeskill and adventure xp, and I'm the only oen who seemed to notice, while u ere in the BG you could use your SF aa lines, just nothing from the other 3 trees

Any exp over your level was deleted. If you were 70% into 87 (Greyquill on LDL) then when you came out, you were 0% into 87. The same happened with tradeskill exp. Obviously, AA's were reduced. I went from 250 to 200.

Because some of us want an objective based PvP environment on our regular server. I for one am willing to be patient.

Can you please just roll the servers back now? It's not like they've even been up from the patch for long. I lost 12 AA and everything is reset. I'm not playing until you fix this.

issue this widespread, thinkin you should just take the servers down again, and rollback characters back to when the servers went down / came up.

Exactly. The faster the servers are brought down and rolled back the less [Removed for Content] off people you will have when you take away any items earned or xp gained within the affected timeframe.

Rollback now ! bring server down. dont even think of making us go throu petition i m not wait for ever we have worked for our AA we wont wait days for CS to go throu petition while we are paying a subscription. not to mention what will happen to the new AA and level we will win after in the time it takes for CS to go throu our petition

can't even log into my toon as the server for BG isnt available and my toon is lost in transition event though it says its on nagafen, Im not allowed to touch it while everyone else is playing, I would of concidered the 6 hour down time today to been time to see if "You go in and out" That nothing happened.

So much for "Running a few tests"

I ponder if I could send Sony a letter letting them know my Payment would be in Soon(tm) As thier community directors try to tell us thinking that playful games are hilarious or something. Honestly its just rude to be honest.
