Far Seas Quest Table Missing?

The Far Seas Requisition table at the docks in TS and Nek appear to be missing. The special assignment questgiver is still there. Even the scrolls on top of the table are still there.

I've asked three other people in game and they indicated the same situation.

If it matters, I'm playing on Guk.

Is this a known issue? None of my forum searches turned up a hit.

Maybe far seas is reassigning workers to handle the city festivals?

Just a thought here, you wouldn't have the unfinished quest already, or the requisitions in your inventory would you?

Otherwise my appologies, I have no idea.

I've had the same problem in Thundering steppes (havent checked Nek forest), /bug hasnt helped so far perhaps this thread will get this under attention. I havent got any unfinished quests either, got the problem straight away when i came to TS for the first time with this toon.

Check your graphics settings. It won't load at all for me if I am down at "claymation" settings, sometimes.

I've the same problem since last GU (or shortly after) The tables in TS and Nek are missing (you can still see papers "floating" where the tables should be). I doubt it's a rendering problem as even 20 mins AFK in front of the table didn't fix it - neither did reloging / lookin' with another chars / going back a few days after etc. I even asked other people on the docks if they were able to see it and they couldn't (I guess it's still possible that they had even older PC than me. /shrug)

I had the same problem on storm when I was trying to do the TS quests (in december), and more recently with nek. I /bug (or /feedback, I don't remember) it for the TS table, I didn't notice it for nek at this time. Friends were in the same case, impossible for them to see the table

Anyway, a friend shared the quests offered by the TS table and I've been able to do them and validate them at the NPC, which offers me the 4 special contract after I finished the first six requisitions.

I didn't try yet for the nek far sea requisitions, but I think it works the same

Yep TS table is invisible on Naggy too, scrolls are floating in the air and unclickable SMILEY

had contacted Customer support on 31-12 and got this response

"Greetings Skag, this is GM (name removed for privacy reasons) responding to your petition.I've further looked into your issue and was able to verify that the desk you are talking about is indeed missing. Now, it's not just missing for your character, it was also missing for mine, so it doesn't seem like the issue is directly related to your character. I've submitted a bug report to have the issue checked out by our Quality Assurance team. If/when a bug is found it will be sent to Development for a correction. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for bringing this to our attention.With regards,GM (name removed for privacy reasons)EverQuest IISony Online Entertainment"

After two weeks of not seeing it fixed send in another report on 13-1 and got this response

"Greetings Skag,Thank you for contacting customer service for Sony Online Entertainment. GM (name removed for privacy reasons), at your service!You issue has indeed been reported. Unfortunately, with the new expansion just around the corner, our dev team is working frantically to make sure we have a good launch. I updated the request to let them know it's still broken, however, it will probably not get fixed until after Sentinel's Fate is released.If you have any other questions or problems, don’t hesitate to contact us.Thank you for your continued patronage and have a nice day."

Heyya all!

The issue you have encountered is an art issue. Unfortunately, as such, it will take a full art build to be corrected. That is why it must wait until the next GU. Thankfully though, the work to correct the issue has already been made, by Domino, just a few days ago (1/19/10).

With GU55 you should see it noted:

The Far Seas taskmaster desk is once again located on the docks of Thundering Steppes and Nektulos Forest.

thanks for updating us Kaitheel, appreciated. Btw GU55 is the new expansion? Or is it before the new expansion?

I hope the latter cause my char wants to do all the quests and seeing I'm lvl 32 now and the quests of the tables are a pain or some of them.. I want to finish them before they're grey.. (yes I'll be lvl 32 for a long time) but still if we have to wait until 23 of februari.. So if it can be sooner it would be nice
