Spieleexplorer Windows7 64bit

Hallo

Gestern habe ich, nach langer Auszeit, mein Account mal wieder reaktiviert.

Damals hatte ich EQ2 noch unter Windows_XP gespielt.

Da ich seit kurzem einen I7 920 incl. 6GB RAM hier habe, war Windows7/64bit die einzig

logische Alternative.

Das Spiel läuft auch absolut problemlos, allerdings gibt es mit dem Spieleexplorer in Windows ein Problem.

Jedesmal wenn ich EQ2 starte erscheint im Explorer, unter der Rubrik "Nicht angegeben", ein Spieleicon.

Das lässt sich weder löschen, noch verschieben, noch sonstirgendetwas.

Wäre es nur eines, ok, aber bei jedem starten ein neues ist irgendwie doch etwas....lästig.

Gibt es da eine Möglichkeit das zu unterbinden oder zumindest mal die Icon´s zu löschen ?

Das Problem wäre mir zwar nie aufgefallen, a ich den Spieleexplorer eh nie nutze, aber es passiert bei mir (Win 7 Home Premium 64bit) auch.

Nach kurzer Suche im Forum bin ich auf diesen Thread gestossen; das Problem scheint zwar bekannt zu sein, eine Lösung gibt's aber offenbar nicht.

Ein User hat dort aber ein kleines Programm geschrieben, welches die doppelten Einträge aus der Registry entfernt. Das Problem dabei ist, dass dies nur eine temporäre Lösung ist und bei erneutem Start trotzdem wieder neue icons erstellt werden. Aber immerhin, man kann damit aufräumen (hab's ausprobiert, und es funktioniert tadellos):
