Claymore Timeline - Qeynos Starter Problem

Have been trying to find Highkeep in NQ to start the Claymore Timeline for one of my guildies. It's very odd but Highkeep isn't there, when we try to share the quest from another player, the share is greyed out (even though the Evil version CAN be shared) and none of the NPC's in Tenebrous will talk to us.

Has this been discontinued? Is it bugged? Are we missing something?

LOL, I figure that the answer is already out there, somewhere, buried in the fine print but after about 3 hours of googling, board surfing, asking in chat channels (a true mark of desperation) I'm coming up blank. :/

Same problem on Storms, it seems to be a bug.

Highkeep may have moved to the beginning area in Tenebrous Tangle to find adventurers who may not have known they could get such an important questline sneaking around in the major cities.

If he is not there then it is definately a bug SMILEY Check near the portal.

Did a bug report and a petition. Unable to find or track highkeep in NQ or in TT. The guards in NQ are rather un-helpful.

any fix for this? some guildmates and I were going to start this but only the evil ones can get it. Highkeep is not in Qeynos nor in TT anywhere. Tried using track but he is no where to be found in either zone,

On a side note.. trying to do the words of pure magic as well for this quest and the shrine that pops in Zek or Enchanted Lands is MIA .. had a guy sitting in each zone on Mistmoore at the spot. and it hasn't popped in either place all day.

Just thought I'd mention that I managed to catch Highkeep on tracking in TT tonight on Test, but when I went to where he was supposed to be he wasn't visible. He seemed to be wandering, and at one point my tracking waypoint was pointing down, so I went to the island below thinking he might be down there, but it isn't actually directly under where I found him on track and he wasn't on track at all there, and when I went back up he had disappeared off track from the main island as well.

It figures that the one day I decide I should finally start this on my alt, I can't. lol. Any luck with "looking into" when this will be fixed?

I just confirmed it to being fixed with Gu54. As far as the words of pure magic, I play on the mistmoore server and I just did the quest last weekend on an alt and it worked fine.

Yea i got it done just the other day, dont know where the shrine was, guess it just took a sabbatical.

So you play on Mistmoore hmmmm... Wonder if Ive grouped with ya

If you are looking for Hightower, perhaps you should check the Policy Academy?

(*grins* sorry, couldn't resist, but make sure you are tracking/looking for Highkeep)

Ok GU 54 is here and Highkeep is not in NQ, next to PT Irontoe where he use to be and he is not in TT either. Any clue where he was moved to?

Same here, my ph and my friend still stuck at the quest starter, really want to LV/AA up with the lovely Claymore questline.

At work right now, but a buddy just tried to get this in freeport on his defiler and said the quest giver on the fp side is mia as well now.

For some reason the files that controls spawns wasn't included in GU54 for Tenebrous Tangle. Since they were moved there. I will see about getting included in the next hotfix. (NOTE: not the one today as check-ins for that one are closed.)

Same problem for the Freeport side as well. Both quest starters were moved to Tenbrous to give them a little more fresh air. I guess they were not quite used to being all out in the open like that and tried to do that base jump by the waterfall and things didn't go very well. Luckily paramedics were standing by, as they always do in that area, and they should be back asap.

Dear Devs, could the quest starter finally be fixed please? EQ2wikia still lists the locations in the different cities as starter (see http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Words_of_Pure_Magic&nbsp SMILEY but from the dev comments in this thread I surmise that the starter NPC was supposedly moved to Tenebrous Tangle. *Where* in TT, then?

Words of Pure Magic is not the starter for the Claymore series. If you look at the pages for the actual first quest on EQ2i for the good version (here) it lists the location in TT. Not 100% sure about the evil verison, that page hasn't been updated yet (I might check with my FP alt and update it tonight)
