Tried sharing Hopsons Goodsoups (Tupta) quest today and it gave the message that it had been accepted but it never showed in the journal, tried a number of times and finally had to go get the quest in person, coudn't even share it while standing right next to the NPC.

We are in Guk HotF now and cannot share quests, missions can be shared but not the other quests for the zone.

I'm also having this exact problem.  I clicked "Accept" and it said I had accepted the quests, but they did not show in the journal after multiple attempts.  We tried this while mentoring and not mentoring.  After being a little more than aggravated, I finally checked here to see what was up.....

Does this seem to be a widespread issue that others are having or something specific to these quests?

Noticed this today as well.   Seems consistent since patch this morning.    I recall last night sharing 'word of pure magic' without difficulty.

On one toon i ge the accept box, can click accept, but it doesn't show up in the quest journal.

On another toon i get the "you do not have this quest" message after i attempt to share.

After clicking the accept button to get the shared quest, the quest never appeared in the journal.  It the logs stated the quest was accepted.  This occurred for every grp that we did this with.

It started after the update was applied.

I had this issue with every quest I attempted to share between two accounts. I was unable to get anyone else to confirm the same at the time. Quest share would pop up the quest window and clicking accept will send log line as Quest accepted but it disappears from the journal almost instantly, and leaves the quest helper blank.

Oooh I didn't see this thread because I didn't think it was related, but it might be, perhaps...

Monk trials stopped working yesterday.  The thread I posted is here, but I'll recap to keep info all in one thread:  Zone into monk pebble trial, accept quest, get booted out of the zone almost immediately.  A random stranger that ran by experienced the same issue, we tried different trials, and I logged an alt (on a different account) to try with them.  Same results.

Aurelis and I tried to share quests and it says she's accepted it, but it does not show up in her journal and I didn't receive her quests either. Will submit /bug report.

Aye this happened to me as well. Tried to share quest and my wife accepted it.  But it did not go into her journal. We had to goto the quest NPC to get it.

Also my friend tried to accept a quest froma  Quest NPC and that wouldn't even share for him, he had to petition to get the quest manually added to his journal.

I thought I read above that a few people were experiencing it direct from NPC's as well? If not, my bad SMILEY

I was 2 boxing last night post-patch and sharing quests between toons and never noticed any problems but its possible that when both were completing quests together it was just ones they already both had previously.  I wasn't being very systematic about the quests and didn't pay too close attention.

I have had no problem sharing shard quests since the hotfix, but those are the only quests I have shared.

Also had this problem yesterday.  Mentored down to do quests in Catacombs in Antonica.   One person got the quest from the npc and could select to share the quest.  Everyone else was able to click accept, and the text said the quest was accepted, but it did not show up in the quest journal.

I am in Guk HotF right now and cannot share quests for that zone:

For the Glory of Marr, Heroes Honored, Pressing Your Luck in Upper Guk will not share, I get the confirmation message that I accept the quest but it does not show up in my journal no matter how many times I share and click accept.

Missions, however, do share correctly.

If this is any help in your investigations I had the same problems today on Runnyeye.

Group of 3; two level 77 and one level 80 mentoring one of the level 77's.  We were adventuring in Kunzar Jungle.  My level 77 had two city writs (for Tatterback Gorillas, can't remember the other).  I offered these quests to the others, the dialog said that the other level 77 had accepted but the city writs did not appear in his quest journal.  The dialogue also correctly said that the level 80 toon could not accept the quest (had already done it once and is repeatable).

The level 80 offered the level 77's a repeatable quest from the Outer Sebilisians (to get gorilla pelts).  Again the dialogue said we accepted but the quests did not appear in our quest journals.

I offered the other level 77 the starter quest in the "Bax" series (finding him and then killing Yellowfang).  Again the dialogue said that he had accepted but did not show in his quest journal.

Last night, a full group of guildies were running Stormhold. One mate was sharing all his current and completed quests for the zone. Quests showed as offered and accepted but none showed up in any of our journals.

Hey guys, we've found the issue and we're putting together a small hotfix for next Tuesday to correct it.  I apologize that you'll have to deal with this over a weekend.

The quest Rrarwrk is bugged as well. This is the very beginning of the swashbuckler epic quests. You aquire a bird named Rrarwrk in your inventory, summon it by right clicking and selecting use, and the bird is supposed to offer you the quest. It offers it to me over and over and over again, but no matter how many times I click Yes, it never ends up in my journal.

I've petitioned, and I really hope a GM fixes it; I was very much looking forward to working towards my epic this weekend.

I finally recieved a reply to my petition. It confirmed this is a bug affecting a couple of other epic quests as well. They cannot fix the problem even for my character individually. I'd been pushing to get to 80 and get my epic in anticipation of upcoming raids in my guild, and getting friends to agree to help, but now it looks like I'll have to postpone playing to get my epic for another week. What can I say? I'm surprised and disappointed.

I don't know if this is related or not but I have expiry timers on HQ's and other quests that do not have timers, such as the Rift quest in The Village of Shin.

It has a 4 hour 48 min timer on it with one character and no timer on the other character, both received quest at the same time in June.

Just a confirmation this is also happening for a friends Coercer Fabled starter the Incandescent Wand.  He can hail herself, get the quest dialog then clicks accept and in the shared journal I see it pop in and then out with in a second and she can't continue.

The coercer epic quest line cant get past the 2nd quest as when you click accept, it doesnt go into your journal. Is this the reason behind it?
